Perfect Gift for a Young Space Enthusiast
My son is obsessed with space, so this was the perfect gift for him. The instructions were easy to follow, and the paint dried within a couple of hours and was still fresh. While the plastic parts of the model feel a bit cheaply made, my son didn’t mind at all—he loved painting and building it entirely on his own. It now proudly sits in his room as a fun display. I also appreciated that it included an outer space poster, which was a nice added touch

Fun and educational
This is a fun way for kids to learn about the solar system. The pieces are well made, and the glow-in-the-dark feature is a big hit. Great mix of learning and play.

Fun to make, beautiful to look at
Easy instructions, enough paint for extra touch ups, super fun to do with my 4 year old. I ended up enjoying it a lot more than I thought. Great time together and it turned out beautifully. Didn't expect this thing to now be a focus on our family wall.

A learning experience
Gift for a 7 year old - a little craft with painting the planets and then assembling them into order. Helpful with learning the solar system.

Neat
My 6 year old has become fascinated with space, and when I saw this I knew he would love it. Definitely for older kids if they're doing it by themselves, but it was a really fun project to build together.

Eh, it’s ok
Like most sky related learning tools, this teaches the Heliocentric viewpoint, as if a child was in a space ship or something. We are not. We are on earth. These people need to be reminded to touch grass and look up lol. We have a geocentric viewpoint when we look up. That’s what children see. That is first and best understood. “BUt tHe eArTh rOtAtEs aRoUnD tHe sUn!!!1!”… two things can be true. Navigating in the woods or on the sea using the stars is BEST understood from a GEOCENTRIC perspective. With that being said, some modifications can still be made to this model, to help them understand the ecliptic and all.. but it’s not as easy. Additionally, you can opt out of adding Uranus and Neptune, since we cannot really see those with the naked eye. These people I tell ya lol.

Educational and fun
We got this for a little space loving 8 year old birthday boy. He was thrilled. Easy to put it together and educational which adds to the functionality of it. It encourages learning while it’s on his nightstand and was really reasonably priced. The aesthetic and quality is a plus too. Very pleased.
