16" Dominant Dog Collar – Heavy Duty No-Pull Slip Training Collar for Aggressive or Reactive Dogs, Choke-Style Safety Design

I bought one then reordered and bought a 2nd one. It works perfect for a dog that needs a little extra to keep their attention. The first one I ever had was still working 8 year's later but was a little too snug.

I was really frustrated after a year and a half off near constant tugging and pulling by a very active 25# Sheltie. As soon as we put this on, no more pulling. If there is a major distraction, there will still be some pulling, but not like before. Try this this before prongs or choke chains, it might be great.

Oh what a world of difference this collar makes in making the walk more pleasurable. I have a 25 lb, 15-18 month rescue, with the tendency to pull vigorously during our walks. The collar was recommended to me by my dog trainer, but I hesitated getting it, as I was already on leash instrument 4, having tried harness, regular collar, soft choke collar, and was now on slip lead leash. After my dog pulled me past and against a metal grate, leaving a 4 inch scar on the back of my hand, I gave in. The possibility of having a collar that stays up on my dogs head, w/o activating reverse sneezing, red eyes and nose, due to his exuberant pulling / self-choking, and allowing me to exert the needed control is wonderful. The initial collar was a little too big, despite having followed the sizing instructions, and am now working with Leerburg to get the right size for my dog. I suggest watching the sizing video on the Leerburg site /Youtube, www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qfLpzmCDW8, to get an understanding on how the collar is supposed to fit the dog. I will update this post after I determine the right collar size for my pooch.

Nice collar. Well made. Fits well. Easy to get in and off.

Using it as a back up collar, works as advertised.

Although this works like any other slip lead, I want impressed with the way it latched together to make the slip collar. The item itself is strong and works fine. It's just not my preference.

Love this collar for some training around the house. Our dogs don’t always get along so they both wear this with a small lead in case we need to grab them quickly. Fits perfect.

It absolutely gives me better control over my dog in a much kinder manner. I wish I found this collar sooner.
