I take this bag to the gym,school to carry books and notes, and work. I even carry a lunch in the small mesh pouches in the main compartment.Great back pack just like the 72. Has a lot of pockets which makes it great for organization!

Great backpack, but big and a bit heaven. I wear it when I travel, holds everything, but I wish it came with someone to carry it.

Very comfortable, extremely well built and practical.

Great duty bag and I like the primary and secondary pocket layout. This replaced my S.O.C. bag that many of you may be familiar with. Overall it is a great design with plenty of storage for mags and gear. I added an external Nalgene holder and a tourniquet holder, but the rest of my gear goes inside. The hydration compartment is smaller than I expected, but it is great that it is completely separate from the main compartment. The straps are well designed and fit my shoulders well (something that no other non framed pack has done before). The biggest downside are the two vertical external pockets under the molle. They are too slim and the zipper is obstructed by any pouches attached to the side. A thin pair of gloves and a watch cap are all that I could reasonably fit there.

I have carried upwards of 30+ pounds in this backpack with my camera gear and extra. Throughout long hikes and long sessions it remains comfortable on the shoulders and easy on the back. I have dragged and thrown this pack around and all the buckles and fabric is free from scuffs and tears. It’s pockets are vast and comparmentalized allowing for orgaization beyond evn my standards. Compression straps make it great when traveling in vehicles and planes too. Never hade a problem with water in streams or heavy thunderstorms. It may be a tall price for a bag but it definitely will be the bag ti end all bags in the coming years for me.

This backpack is one of the best I’ve ever used. The zippers are incredibly smooth, the shoulder straps are very comfortable, and I love the butterfly pocket on top. That said, I’d like to point out a few drawbacks: - The side pocket is hard to access because the compression strap covers the zipper. - The MOLLE webbing on both ends of the front panel isn’t usable. - The concealed pouch is exposed to rain. I really wanted to give this product 5 stars, but one of the zippers was broken (I managed to fix it myself), and one of the MOLLE seams was frayed. So I’m giving it 4 stars.

Awesome bag! I had no problem with the airlines, perfect carry-on.

Outstanding durability and utility that replaced its predecessor that was used for 12 years!
