It's a great keyboard and very portable.
Awesome keyboard! The workmanship is great. It's very portable. Lots of styles and really authentic sounding instruments. I only wish it came with more sample songs like those on less expensive models. But all the other feature more than makes up for it, besides, you can load a tone of midi song on it if you really want them. Or stick a USB flash drive in the back with all the song you desire. I have had it for a couple of months now and I expect it to last a longtime.

Great for Studio Work or Live Performances
Great sounding keyboard with an amazing number of authentic instrument voices. You can hear the "lip" noises on the Live horn voices. Build multiple tracks for a stand-alone performance or play live with a band. Intuitive controls and settings.

Awkward keyboard, harsh sounds
A bit of background. Many years ago, I played cocktail piano in bars and restaurants, arranged the music and played piano for summer theaters, and accompanied amateur and professional singers. Over the years, I have owned many pianos. My current instrument is a Yamaha P-155 digital piano with fully weighted keyboard – it sounds like a real piano (played through a pair of Behringer speakers with 8-inch woofers and 4 separate amps, one for each woofer and one for each tweeter), and feels like a real piano – and that is the problem. Advancing age and arthritis have made it difficult for me to play the P-155, so I sought a semi-weighted keyboard and, after watching a zillion video demonstrations (there is nowhere near my home in Tucson, AZ to actually try out such an instrument), I bought the PSR S670. I could not have been more disappointed. First of all, and most importantly, the white keys on the PSR S670 are around a half-inch shorter than the keys on my P-155. That would be OK, but they are hinged in such a manner that another inch or so closest to the fall board is unusable. The black keys are closer in size to normal, but they too can’t be played at their farthest from the player. The result is that, if you try to play close to the fall board, or just automatically do so, your fingers slip downwards, which made the instrument unusable for me. The sound too was disappointing, harsh and often uneven across the keys – e.g., the pipe organ would have more upper partials on some keys than on others. That was when using the internal speakers. Connected it to my big Behringer speakers, it was even worse. I returned it. (The second star is for the automatic accompaniment, which is rather fun.)

Great instrument but awful owners manual.
Love the keyboard. Sounds are great. They should move the port to plug in headphones to the front where it would be easily accessed when plugging headphones in. It is in the back and awkward to access. Also the user manual is awful. They should be more specific in explanations in the manual. Great instrument but awful owners manual.

Yamaha PSR-A3000
I ordered this keyboard for its oriental voices and styles. Yamaha has done a great job of including oriental voices and styles on the keyboard itself. It will also great when Yamaha Expansion Pack releases its collection for PSR-A3000. This keyboard offers many interesting and fun features including complete control over every aspect of playing music. It will take some time for a beginner to learn all different features of this keyboard, but overall, Yamaha PSR-A3000 appears to be a great keyboard.

Something like this easily ruins the experience of playing the piano
This is why you save your box, wrapping etc when you order something as expensive as this. Unfortunately there was a problem 2 black keys came to stiff to the point you couldn't play the piano properly. You would have to use extra force just to make sure the key was pressed. Something like this easily ruins the experience of playing the piano. I'm new to the whole return system so I was unsure if this could be fixed. But to my surprise within the next day of submitting my return a new piano was delivered. The old one was picked up at the same time the new piano was dropped off. This one doesn't have any problems. For the fact this was taken care of so fast without any hassle I give it 5 stars even though the original piano was bought new not used. Customer support is important to me worth the buy. As for the product it's worth every penny.

Nah
Very poor quality to the touch. Arabic sample are very inauthentic and the power is not great at all. Do not buy from everything music. They will charge you restocking fee for not liking it.

that i really love on PSR A3000 and things
There are some things , that i really love on PSR A3000 and things, that dislike. Dislike: The keys they make noise every time you press them ( mechanical noise). some setting in the function area are not permanent like foot switch i adjust it to FILL IN and after turning off the keyboard i have to do again and again. in some styles the right hand volume is low. i have to press ballance volume on right hand up. Touch function on piano is very bad, if it is on the piano is low and not clear and the adjustments does not give the same volume as the touch function is off. i keep touch button off to hear better piano.some other things that i wish to be changed. I love the voice and style quality. They are amazing. the middle eastern and oriental voices and styles are perfect.

Excelente workstation.

The only issue I had was the compatibility with my old keyboard (PSR S900). I was not able to transfer my 100+ saved songs on USB to the new keyboard. (Not compatible software) Therefore had to manually input all the songs. On a positive note, I could not find the exact voices on the new keyboard to match the old one but was able to copy/paste voices and styles from the PSRS900 to the PSRS975. Took a little work, but help me get familiar with the new system quicker.

May not be a choice for an advanced musician but a great choice for a complete power to provide nice pieces of music and orchestration. A little bit complicated as music itself is.
