KIWI design K4 Boost Comfort Battery Head Strap Accessories for Meta/Oculus Quest 3/3S, Dual Charge the VR Headset and Battery Strap in 2.5h

Recently bought the Meta Quest 3, had already read the issues with the standard head strap that comes with it being uncomfortable. With that in mind, I wanted a more premium head strap and the extra battery power to be able to use it longer. This is a lot more comfortable to use, spent a few hours using it before writing this just to compare and the difference is immediately noticeable. Didn’t feel any discomfort while using the whole time, not at all overly heavy with the additional battery, was easy to attach to the Quest 3 and all connects together perfectly. Head strap can also be easily adjusted for a nice fit while using to keep it secure. Included non-removable battery was almost fully charged when it came, when connected and charging, it charges both the battery in the head strap and the battery in the Quest 3 at the same time which is great. It doesn’t come with any charging cables or additional plugs, not an issue though as you can just use the plug and USB-C cable that comes with the Quest 3. After a few hours of use the battery on the Quest 3 was still full and also had 1 of 4 lights on the head strap battery still available. Overall if you’re after something comfortable that also has the extra battery power then I have no issue at all recommending this. Very good value for the cost, will make your VR experience last longer along with more comfort in the process.

Lovely and comfortable as you would expect from the KIWI brand,love the touch to add built in headset..probably done this as no one else has and to keep relevant.Over 4 hours extra battery life so its a game changer. It's expensive £130,is it worth it? In all honesty as good as it is NO its not worth that expense that's alot of money in this age where people watch what they spend with bills rising,but if you want the best and a great extra battery life compared to the previous model and willing to pay..this in my opinion is it

Good head strap and comfortable to wear with the padding. Feels durable and size adjustability is good. I find the battery design useful for a quick top up if I want to extend my session by 30 minutes, or when I forget to charge the quest! Easy to attach to the headset.

Quick summary Meta quest 3 transforms into something greater with this. This has completely change the meta quest 3. For the better. The comfort is just exceptional The sounds is so good with movies. Or like 3D avatar, etc Star Trek. VR Games are insane with the sound. It’s literally stepping into a new class of sound. The official meta quest battery isn’t the best compared to this. This headset/strap is how I would say an official one should be like. I am absolutely shocked, It’s a wow factor that meta quest has not copy this idea. Absolutely nuts. 5 hours of battery life, sound is premium, the comfort is insane. Thank you for making this product. My head is still trying to work out why meta quest made the official one the way it is. Strap and battery and price it at the range of this, I’m still trying to understand the concept. It’s literally insane. One you use both you’ll see what I mean.

Easy to swap for old strap. Well made and fits perfectly. Not too heavy and the hidden tightening dial is a good addition. So much more comfortable than strap that comes with quest 3. It’s nearly as comfy as my PSVR2 and that’s saying a lot. Would highly recommend this product. As for the battery I dunno how it will last so I’ll see after regular use. Price is good too. You get what you pay for. Update: battery is good and this strap has been a life saver . KIWI products rock!! Will be buying more. I know you can get cheaper but remember you get what you pay for and quality is not cheap

got this the other day and it is generally good and i love it would recommend the audio is much better then the other reviews said and its comfy and would recommend getting if you want comfy vr play

Update: I’ve added another star for excellent customer service as they have refunded the cost of the unit. I plan on purchasing from Kiwi Design again as this really builds confidence in the company and their commitment to providing great products. Purchased two of these, one for my wife and one for me. I was disappointed that the headphones didn’t really add anything in trend of volume over the inbuilt Quest 3 audio but they did add a lot of bulk. In addition one of the arms in my wife’s set broke and has now been taped up as otherwise it’s literally dangling by a thin wire. The battery life certainly improves the gaming time available to you and can get you through a 2 1/2+ hour film so that’s a good element. In hindsight I think I would purchase the Kiwi H4 boost over the more expensive K4

First one I ordered broke as soon as I removed it from the box. Headphone detached. Ordered a replacement which was broken in exactly the same place. No damage to packaging, so was it boxed, damaged? Who knows? Really disappointed.

I’m so glad I bought the KIWI design K4 Boost Battery Head Strap for my Meta/Oculus Quest 3S! This head strap has genuinely improved my VR experience. Das hier ist mein erstes Headstrap und somit habe ich keinen anderen Vergleich als zum orginalen Headstrap von Meta was bei der Quest beiliegt. Zuerst einmal möchte ich dazu sagen, das die Verarbeitung des Kiwi Headstrap wirklich gut und hochwertig ist. Die Montage ist wirklich kinderleicht, ich als handwerklich unbegabter, konnte das alte Headstrap innerhalb von ein paar Minuten wechseln. Das Kiwi Headstrap lässt sich sehr einfach auf den Kopf setzen, es passt immer direkt und muss mit den gut zu erreichenden Kopffixierer nur festgezogen werden, was alles zusammen nicht länger als ein paar Sekunden benötigt. Da man das Headstrap von hinten bis zur hälfte nach oben klappen kann, muss man als Brillenträger sich nicht mehr in die Brille zwängen und den Abstand justieren, man kann direkt exakt und einfach in die Brille schlüpfen. Die Kopfstütze und das Kopfband sind sehr bequem und mit dem Orginal nicht vergleichbar, der Komfort des Kiwi Headstrap ist dagegen fantastisch, weich und sehr angenehm, sich den Kopf anpassend. Das Gewicht des Akkus und Headstrap spürt man schon leicht am Hinterkopf, aber nicht ansatzweise so stark wie mit dem orginalen Headstrap an Vorder und Rückseite. Durch die Form wird das Gewicht von vorne zusätzlich nach hinten verlagert und es fühlt sich allgemein viel leichter und besser an als mit dem Orginal von Meta, der Kopf wird viel weniger belastet und alles ist viel angenehmer und bequemer. Dadurch gibt es auch keine bis wenige Druckstellen im Gesicht, auch nach längeren Spielzeiten. Der Akku ist fest verbaut, hält bei mir +2 Std, lädt sich in einer normalen Geschwindigkeit auf, durch Lichter am Batteriestrap wird der Akkustand abgelesen und durch einen Anschluss unten aufgeladen. Mein Fazit ist, das jeder seinen Komfort, seinen Spielspaß und Spielzeit mit diesem Headstrap von Kiwi viel verbessert. Ein 100% Kaufempfehlung für jeden Qurst 3 Besitzer. Zudem ist das Preisleistungsverhältnis wirklich gut. Ich bin vollkommen zufrieden mit dem Produkt.

For me this perfect balance between comfort and stability. I like the Quest 3 original strap for stability, I can move my head around in fast games and keep a sharp sweeet spot, it does not move. But it’s awfully uncomfortable after 10 minutes. I tried a Kiwi Design H4 Halo strap, and while it’s very comfortable and fixes that issue, it introduces a new one for me as it’s so vobbly! In faster games I quickly lose my sharpness sweet spot (I use prescription inserts) because it moves around so much and it just does not feel like I get the ultimate picture quality. I am also aftraid to move my head around and that does not feel natural. Well I am glad to say this K4 Boost with battery solves both issues and is the perfect balance between comfort and stability! It’s way more comfortable than the original strap, but without sacrificing the stability! So feels much more natural than a Halo for me. Don’t belive all those ”Halo is better!” on the internet. Maybe if you are a youtuber and use it more than 8h a day, but if you are a regular user and want to get a one or two hours of gameplay after work, this is just perfect! Also battery is perfect, not a problem I can’t change them like in Bobo variants. It gives double amount of battery time and that’s plenty for me, I would never play VR more than 2 hours anyway without a break. And then you can fast charge it if you want, I have not tried fast charging but should work pretty quickly.
