The litterbox works as advertised. I have 1 cat and usually change out the litterbox bag every 1-2 weeks. The litter itself last longer and I usually don't have to add much litter. The cleaning cycles preserve majority of the cat litter relatively well.The Tuya app is a simple and intuitive app to use. I've had no issues with connectivity or using the app. From the app, I can check my cats weight, how many times the litter has been cleaned, and even reset the litter box. I have this for a few months now and still have not had any issues with odor. Just because I wanted to, I took the time after about 2 months of having it to wipe down the plastic mat inside the litterbox. My only suggestion is to ensure that you have enough litter to cover the floor of the litterbox so that minimal residue remains after the cleaning cycles.You can use the litter of your choice and for the litter bin, you can use any trashbag. The product itself arrived with 3 rolls of trashbags which I still have plenty of. The product was easy to assemble. Took less than 10 min to assemble and setup the application. There are also buttons on the device itself to perform the same functions as the app. This self cleaning litterbox is affordable and cheaper than the alternatives that function similarly.

Over all this product does what it says. It was easy enough to put together and start up. Now that we have had it a few months I have a few comments. First try to use dust free clumping litter. The drum gets dirty and is very large, I took it outside to hose off. Living in Buffalo that is fine for spring and summer but not ideal for winter! Second, the app is not always accurate which doesn't really interfere with the actual workings of the box, but it was a selling point for me. I find myself going to the basement to see what is actually happening with the box. Also, if you want more info from the app you need to purchase it and that was not indicated when I purchased. It is quiet, light weight, sturdy, and easy enough to figure out. I think if I could change design it would be the height. It is a big difference between this product and the normal litter box that sits on the floor. I put a box in front of it to act as a step for my older cat. Finally, when I went to order more bags and replacement pads they were out of stock and no further information. I emailed the company with no response. I did end up purchasing them as I randomly would check to see if they were available.

I was very skeptical before making this purchase as there are a lot of automatic litter box units being deemed as deadly for your cats. After lots of research I chose this design.Pros:- Has many safety features that will stop the unit from operating while a cat is inside.- Looks great and futuristic- Does it's job of scooping the litter pretty well- My cats took to it quickly and definitely use it the most out of having 3 other non-automatic boxes available for them to use as well.- The drum is easy to remove to take outside and do a deep cleaning to.Cons:- Sensors seem to be a bit temperamental, as the unit will sometimes completely stop operating automatically until I've done a reset to it to get it back going again.- It doesn't have thin enough bars on the scooper to get all of the bits of poop, so small pieces will end up never going in to the bin.- The litter tray is really difficult to remove without getting your hands dirty from the used litter.

We bought this unit several months ago. We have two cats (a kitten and a slightly plump old lady cat). I do like the convenience of not needing to clean the litter box every day. I really like that it completely stops turning when the kitten decides to poke his head back in to see what's going on.However, there is a smell by the end of the week and the collecting tray needs to be cleaned weekly. Another con is that if you have a slightly plump cat, it is hard to turn around in. Luckily she is petite. I am not sure I would recommend this for a large cat. Another issue is that it is not deep enough, so when they walk in, their bottom slightly sticks out and solids tend to land on the floor at times. It is big and bulky so it doesn't fit in the same spot as the old litter box.What I love about it is the ease to clean. We use low dust, automatic litter box approved litter that I add a scoop of every other night to keep it full. Do not use dusty litter or you'll be sad with the amount of litter waste sticking to the bottom of the tray. I like that there is a light and the app is nice. The bottons on the outside are easy to use, but keep the paperwork so you know what the symbols mean. My cats started using it right away and didn't need much prompting. The quality of the set up is what I expected. It does work well, and I have not had any issues with the machine. I have recommended this to other family members too. I would buy it again honestly.

I was skeptical at first since I have never owned a self cleaning litter box. It has been life changing, I no longer scoop poop and I used to dread when I had to since I’m allergic and the smell of pee makes me sneeze. The litter box is pretty efficient and I only change the bag on Fridays. The size of the box is big enough for my two 13 pound cats. The noise level is appropriate for what it does. I feel as if I actually waste less litter now than before. I would recommend this self cleaning litter box to anyone who has cats and wants to stop wasting time scooping every few days. I do like the blue light at night as it helps the cat find it in the dark. No issues so far.
