Beurer HD 75 Cosy Electric Blanket

I have never owned an electric blanket before this as I had safety concerns about them, hence why I bought this brand when I saw it on sale in the sales because it says it has safety features intergrated. It says it is washable, however one thing to note is that the manual states that it should only be washed a few times in its lifetime and spot clean in between. When turned up to the highest setting at first it seems like it does not give off a lot of heat, however after using it for the timed 180 minutes, the heat gets trapped under the blanket and I found it sufficient in January. The heat is a really gentle, even heat and I would really recommend this electric blanket.

This blanket is good quality. It is CE marked and feels robust and safe to use. It comes well packaged. I use it when I work in a garden office to save running the electric heater. It heats up quickly and keeps an even heat. There are 6 levels and level 6 is very warm. I find that 2-4 is adequate but the weather hasn't got properly cold yet! It is quite heavy and can slip off when you are sitting up using it. To stop it slipping, I fold it in half and put it around my shoulders, which may not be the best for the longevity of the cabling but works really well. There are smaller blankets on the market that might be better for use at a desk but as I also want to use it on the sofa when watching TV, I went for the bigger size. I am not disappointed and would thoroughly recommend.

So so disappointed, with this item, it warms up only at the centre leaving the corners old. and even at 6 it's barely warm like Luke warm. It doesn't heat properly. I'm very very disappointed

Bought two of these as presents. Liked the idea that they were European-made (from a safety perspective) and automatically turned-off after a period- they were for older relatives. Tried one briefly once opened as a gift but didn’t feel it got particularly hot (not like mine- a different brand). My gift receivers seem happy with them but they have nothing to compare them to. I’ve owned 2 before and felt they just weren’t warm enough. That said, they are a nice blanket and feel good quality.

This is a good product. I used it draped over the bag of my sofa and it's great. If you turn it on, let it heat up and feel it with your hand, it won't feel that hot. But laying back against it watching a movie, it feels really cosy. Not had any issues with it and used it quite a lot. Great buy.

Excellent when it works. I bought August 22 and now Feb 23 the switch doesn't work. They are detachable so should be ready to replace but it's not very good if the switch has broken after just 6 months use. But it's very worth buying and has a 3 year warranty. I shall edit here with updated on warranty experience.

Works well and safely so far. Unlike the common blankets this uses a single channel loop and the controller modulates at power with PWM which is great. It also heats up quickly even on the lowest setting. Already recommended it to friends. The 3 hour timer is great for safety and not to waste power if you forget to turn it off unlike the typical cheaper blankets. Easy to use and and happy with it so far. But will it last more than just this year's winter? Good colour. Good weight, seems rugged enough. Priced alright.

I'm dissapointed after paying more for this heated throw blanket so as to have a second one while the other one I'd bought last year is in the wash and drying. the one I bought last year has 3 heat settings and was cheaper but heated up nicely and kept me at a nice temperature This one has 6 heat settings and on the fullest setting 6 it just did not heat up that hot just slightly luke warm. I am now going to ask for a refund
