- Sound quality is excellent considering the small size. This speaker is about half the size of a typical brick, but it gets plenty loud and can fill a medium or large-sized room with ease. - I love the power indicator. Many speakers do not have a visual battery indicator, but I always like to know when I should plan to plug in. The battery life on this device was excellent. I was able to use it for nearly a full day and was still over half power. - The design of the brass control knob provides an easy way to increase/decrease volume or to skip tracks. - This speaker has a great look. You can place it anywhere and will not clash with other items. The leathery texture gives it a great nostalgic feel.

My GF and I do a lot of camping, and I bought this speaker for our camper. It's got great sound, even on the low end. I really like that it plays out of both sides, so it's easier to find a place to put it so everyone around the campfire can hear. The battery life is amazing. I also like that it's rugged and handles traveling well, and works well in the camper and on the picnic table.

I was going to buy the Woburn iii for my 15 x 20 bedroom but changed my mind about that after watching a few review videos. I got this instead and it is plenty of speaker for the space. Sound dynamics and bass and treble are really phenomenal for this price. I am a fussy person but I am really impressed!!!!!

I LOVE this speaker! I have bought numerous speakers in the past, and they have all served a good function, but this speaker is the perfect size for my desk. It’s incredibly loud and has amazing sound quality. Connections to my phone at first was strange because I had to download an app. But after downloading the app and connecting it to my phone, I don’t have to go through the app anymore! Very easy to use after setting up. I also love how you can use the speaker while charging it. The battery lasts for so long, but when I do need to charge it, I can still listen to my music.

So far, so good. I bought this to replace a smaller Marshall bluetooth speaker (the "Willen") that I was using, which didn't really have very long battery life. This connects to your device via bluetooth. And technically, you could just connect this directly by only using your device's bluetooth setting. But if you're using it with an iPhone or iPad, you'll probably want to download the Marshall app as that's the only way to receive periodic firmware upgrades and to use the 3 Marshall EQ presets. As with other Marshall BT speakers, you can also use this for telephone conversations. The sound is decent with good bass and highs. I haven't "cranked it up to 11", but this should suffice for most uses. Marshall does make bigger BT speakers if you need more oomph. The Emberton is a bit bulkier than the WIllen model, but is still portable and can be easily thrown into a backpack or suitcase. It has a waterproof case, although unlike the WIllien, the Emberton doesn't have a built-in rubber mounting strap. Instead, it has a plastic loop built into the bottom of the case for an optional strap. It has a USB-C port for recharging using the included USB-C cable. No charger is provided. I am deducting one star for the app's EQ limitations (only 3 presets as determined by Marshall) - hopefully that gets more customizable with future app updates. Also, this design changed On/Off from holding down the bronze controller knob to a dedicated On/Off button on the top left side of the case. Since it is a tone-on-tone button, it's not as intuitive to turn on and off, but I suppose I'll get used to it in time.

It looks nice and aesthetically appealing. Loud but clear sound.

Classic design looks great, sound is excellent. App is pretty minimalist but neither necessary nor intrusive with data scraping. Decent price, I'm happy with the product.

The Emberton III is a great portable Bluetooth speaker that is also an improvement on the previous iteration. The sound is awesome for a small speaker, and it’s small enough to throw in your bag when you are travelling. Compared to the Emberton II, this model is easier to use because of small changes to usability.

Good speaker great sound.. Marshall quality.
