Perfect support for 40 yr old male 190 m b 5'10"
I've always tried these Tempurpedic like beds but I've never done anything but sunk inside of them. This is the cheapest model and it is amazing. I'm a side sleeper and before I would wake up with my hips hurting and my shoulders killing me. When you lay in it you sinking just enough for it's a mold around you but that's it it's not hard it's not soft it's definitely what Goldilocks would choose ! This bed is so comfortable I would buy it in a heartbeat if you're considering it.it is worth it!

No Regerts!
I’m very pleased with the quality and price of this mattress! I tested dozens of mattresses in store (none Nectar) and found that of all the styles an all foam one worked best for me. Then it was a matter of finding one for less than $1k that still was good quality. The box was a little heavy but I was able to get the mattress out and onto the frame alone. Immediately after cutting the plastic off the mattress grew to almost its full size in less than 30 minutes but looked really lumpy on the sides and the corners didn’t fill out. 48 hours later and the corners are pretty much filled out and the bed has reached its final firmness level and doesn’t look lumpy at all. There was the slightest scent on the mattress immediately after opening but only when putting my nose on the mattress and it went away in minutes. I got the medium firm and it’s on the firmer side. I’m 200lbs and I don’t feel like I’m sinking into it but it’s still extremely comfortable and shapes to my body. The top layer feels cool to the touch but after putting sheets and blankets on you can’t feel anything. Overall for less than $1k I’d say it’s a great deal. Comfortable and sturdy, pretty much all you need.

Quality mattresses that are comfortable
I bought two twin XL instead of a king so my wife and I didn't disturb each other when we roll over which helps you stay in a deeper REM cycle. They are very comfortable foam mattresses that hold their shape and bounce back. They are very supportive and you do not sink in or have hard spots on your lower back. I tested a lot of mattresses in stores and I honestly like these best and they were less expensive. Some were too hard, some too soft, these are just right. I prefer these over pillow tops which are susceptible to body impressions and hybrids which didn't feel as supportive to me.

You call this mattress Medium Firm?
Much like you are doing now, I spent a lot of time on Amazon looking for anew mattress. I chose this one based upon customer reviews and it was manufactured by a well known company. Well, I do like a firm mattress but this one is really firm. The description said that it was Medium Firm. I would say that it is Medium Firm, Firm. Rather than go through the hassle of trying to return a mattress, I chose to put a 2 inch thick gel, memory foam topper on top of it. I chose the 2 inch as I felt that the 3 inch topper would be too soft. The combination of the firm support of the mattress and the 2 inch gel foam topper is working great.

I love it!
I'm so happy with this mattress!!! I used to wake up with tight muscles on my back from my last 3 mattresses and since I got this one I wake up feeling much better! Firm and super comfy. (my boyfriend and I are short and light though, I don't know how it would work for taller or heavier people, just fyi)

Not What We Hoped For-EDITED! It’s perfect!
We’ve had this mattress out for almost 72 hours with 2 nights of sleep. Was not impressed. #1 our mattress never went to its full size. Each corner was dented in and it caused the middle to be much higher than the rest of the bed. 2. It advertised this mattress as a 6.5 between firmness and softness. We needed some sort of firmness so that I could breastfeed, yet be soft enough to be comfortable. I haven’t found firmness. After sitting (or applying too much pressure at pressure points of the body) I sink so far in that my MIDDLE BACK feels the mattress. This also makes it extremely hard to breastfeed. When trying to adjust, the baby sinks into the pressure spots (as I apply more pressure than she does due to adult vs child). Even after NUMEROUS pillows, there is just no support, especially since the mattress never evened out. 3. The last 2 nights of sleeping on this mattress, I’ve awaken with pain in one of my legs. (I have to sleep on my side to breastfeed and I alternate throughout the night). And the pain hasn’t died down. This mattress was advertised to ease pain, not cause it- but I’m having the opposite effect. Ultimately, we will be trying to return this ASAP. Update!: we decided to keep it a little longer and allow it to shape/form correctly. We placed it on an actual bed support and it was immediately a change for the better. I’m not sure if all the cushion on carpeted floor was the reason, but it was night & day after putting it on a platform bed. Super comfortable, and the movement doesn’t effect everyone sleeping in the bed. Reminds me of that wine commercial mattress. I haven’t done wine, but I’ve done a glass of water and it held place while I got off the bed. It hugs your body without making you feel like you’re sinking into the mattress. Super comfortable & the mattress shaped itself out in a few days after my initial review. No body pains, better sleep, and even my husband doesn’t snore as much or as loud when he does snore. Definitely such a difference from when he falls asleep on the couch watching tv. SO grateful we gave it time & kept it! Definitely a gem for a fraction of the cost of other mattresses. 💯

So comfortable and keeps you cool yet warm
Came as expected. After 24 hours, this has been the most comfortable mattress. It’s been 8 months and still have no complaints. Great support for all your joints, your spine. I never wake up achey! Very quiet no squeaks getting in or out of bed, keeps you cool, yet warm. Never wake up aching except if I throw my pillows! We put it on a platform bed and it works perfectly, it’s the perfect height! Highly recommend!

Too Firm and given the runaround on returning
After years of sleeping in a queen bed, my husband and I finally decided to splurge on a king-sized mattress. Having purchased this same Nectar mattress (in a twin-size) for our young daughter, we were sold on getting the same version for us in a king. The twin Nectar that we own is amazing, very supportive, and so comfortable. I only wish the king-sized version could be described similarly. In comparison, the king mattress feels Ike sleeping on a brick. Where the twin mattress hugs the body, the king size does not. The manufacturer-supplied paperwork that came in the Nectar box encourages customers to give the memory foam 30 days time to fully expand and mentions the importance of sleeping on the mattress in different seasons to get a full and fair experience. Relying on the promise of a “365-day trial” and a "forever warranty" noted over and over, I felt assured that I could give the mattress a fair shot before making a final judgment on its comfort. After months of tossing and turning and both my husband and I agreeing that this mattress just is not comfortable nor is it at all in the same ballpark for comfort as its twin counterpart, I contacted Nectar directly to begin the return-process. I was told by Nectar that since I purchased through Amazon, I would need to deal with Amazon for returns. This made little sense to me since manufacturers usually prefer to handle this type of issue themselves. However, after some back and forth with Nectar, I did contact Amazon. Once I was able to speak with an actual human at Amazon, I was immediately told I needed to speak directly with Nectar. Now, doubly frustrated, I explained that I had already been in contact with Nectar and was told by Nectar that I must deal with this via Amazon. The Amazon associate, finally, after some doing, agreed to refund my money and told me that I would not be responsible for sending product back (due to its prohibitively large size and the nature of the product). However, after a week or so, I was not refunded. I then had to spend a long time, over weeks, dealing with Amazon to recoup my money. This included one conversation with a kind though perhaps naive associate who told me I could simply “fold up the product and leave it on the porch for pick up” after initiating a return. I explained over and over again in a variety of ways how one does not just “fold” an 80-pound foam mattress and that it was originally vacuum-packed in a relatively small box, a process I don’t possess the technology for at my home. I told her I’d have no problem leaving it for pick up but that she would have to provide a reasonable way for me to do that. After being given the runaround and speaking to no less than five people, I was granted a refund and told to dispose of or donate the product. This experience was so much harder than it needed to be. The marketing for the Nectar mattress boasts the “longest trial” in the business and yet the manufacturer does not honor that guarantee. Amazon clearly isn’t prepared to handle honoring that either. I’m thankful that Amazon did finally refund my money to “make it right” but it was like pulling teeth to get to that point. I warn anyone interested in this mattress in a king-size, to look elsewhere. Perhaps if I’d purchased directly through the Nectar site, I would have been treated like a true Nectar customer and granted the privilege of their trial claims. Purchasing here on Amazon, through the official Nectar store, turned out to be a mistake. The experience with this mattress has proven to be both a literal and figurative pain in the neck.
