Fizzy drinks with relaxing effect
A nice seltzer drink that is calming. A nice non alcohol alternative. Favorite flavors so far are watermelon lime and blackberry lemon.

Bright, refreshing, and surprisingly calming
I think these are some of the best functional drinks that don't have alcohol in them. Every flavor in the variety pack is fresh, slightly sweet, and really good—there's nothing fake or syrupy about them. The adaptogens help you relax without making you sleepy, so it's great for winding down or replacing an evening drink. The cans look great, the flavors are different, and the whole thing has a positive, smooth feel to it. This is a great choice if you want to cut back on drinking but still have fun and feel good.

Amazing mocktail!!
My favorite nootropic / adaptogenic mocktail I’ve tried. Fave flavor watermelon lime. You genuinely feel calmer and more clear after. Great for sober folks or anyone cutting down on drinking!!

The BEST "Functional Seltzer" Out There -- Still With MAJOR Room for Improvement
This product is my absolute favorite "functional" alcohol substitute thus far. Caveats: it will not leave you feeling "buzzed," even if you slam 4 of the cans in an hour or so, but the subtle feeling of calm and relaxation is palpable, pleasant and worthwhile, especially as an athlete who cannot afford the metabolic cost of alcohol consumption. Granted how much I like it, there is BIG room for improvement IMO, and it looks like this. #1. It's expensive. Almost 4 bucks a can, a stick pack version would be welcome at $2/per, as I will easily go through 2 of these a day during the evening while fasting to help offset the sensations of food deprivation, for which this product is very useful. #2. Speaking of fasting, the 30 cals/can is really silly when the sucrose used to sweeten it (it's not even sweet) could be easily replaced by stevia. As it stands, this is how I prepare it -- a can in a shaker bottle with a good dash of stevia. So, the added sugar does nothing good IMO, and should be replaced with stevia, monkfruit, or whatever else. #3. Salt. Adding a dash of salt to this completes it, from both a health and taste perspective, along with the stevia. Salt assists with the utilization of the actives in the CNS tissue, helps to replenish electrolytes (esp. important in active populations), and makes it taste much better. #4. Something could be done to make the relaxing effect stronger without worry of too many unpleasant side effects. I'm not sure what that looks like, whether it would be adding kanna, kava, or something else, but that itself would make this an A+ product. That is all, no doubt I will continue to use, as I feel it helps me to relax, sleep better, focus in the evenings, and be there when food cravings hit during fasts.

Alcohol free way to chill
As a sober person, I figured I would try these. Positive side, they do give a pleasant floaty sensation, non addictive imo-anyway I wouldn't want more than one and I doubt you get “more floaty” beyond one. They are expensive. Cant really compare to other botanicals-there are several of these type of drinks available now. Taste is ok. I like the peach mango best. Good alcohol free drink to relax.

Tasty, Unique, and a Great Alcohol Alternative
I’ve been exploring non-alcoholic drink options lately and stumbled across HIYO’s Blackberry Lemon Social Tonic. I’m glad I gave it a shot — it’s refreshing, flavorful, and definitely brings something different to the table. Pros: Flavorful and complex — The blackberry is bold and juicy, and the lemon adds a nice zing. It’s not overly sweet, which I really appreciate. It has a more “grown-up” flavor that doesn’t feel like you’re drinking soda or juice. Nice buzz-free vibe — I wouldn’t say it gave me a strong “float” feeling, but I did feel calm, clear, and uplifted after drinking it. The mix of adaptogens and botanicals seems to work subtly in the background. Low calorie and guilt-free — At just 30 calories per can and low sugar, it fits into my lifestyle easily. And no hangover the next day is a huge plus. Perfect for socializing — It’s great to bring to parties or wind down in the evening without turning to alcohol. The packaging is also sleek and modern. Cons: Pricey for a seltzer — It’s definitely more expensive than your average sparkling water, but I get that the ingredients are more specialized. Slightly herbal aftertaste — Not unpleasant, but if you’re not used to adaptogens, the taste might catch you off guard at first. “Float” effect varies — While I felt good after drinking it, I wouldn’t describe it as a strong mood shift. Your experience might vary. All in all, this is a really solid option if you’re cutting back on alcohol or just want a flavorful, functional drink. I’ll definitely be keeping a few of these in the fridge for when I want to unwind with something different!
