If you're in the market for an extra-secure lock that you can open remotely, buy this one. Ease of setup: I have zero experience with home improvement type things - I’m normally a task-rabbit girlie. But I’m currently a bit poor, so had to suck it up and install it myself, and it truly was simple to do. If I can do it, any idiot can do it. Quality: It's good. I feel like you can't go wrong with a Eufy product. They may be a bit pricier than others, but they're always good quality. They look nice, feel nice, act nice, etc. Functionality: It works. One little plus is that it works even if the batteries are dead. I was out of town and needed someone to stop by my house. The app told me that the batteries had died and I was afraid the lock would stop working and they wouldn't be able to get in. I was pleasantly surprised that that was NOT the case! One (pretty obvious) thing to note: if you have a door that kind of sticks, make sure you shut it hard / all the way. This can't lock if the deadbolt isn’t lined up with the hole in the other side of the door. App: This can be controlled remotely from the app because the lock connects to wifi. I have another Eufy lock (one of the fancier ones with the fingerprint thing - which this one does NOT have) on my front door, and that one can only be unlocked with the app if you're close enough to it on bluetooth. Which is honestly so dumb, because if I was at home when I needed to open the door I'd just walk over and unlock it manually. This one however, is a major upgrade because I can unlock it from wherever I am! Game changing for if you need to let someone in while you're not home, but you don't want to give them your code. Just unlock it for them and then re-lock it when they leave!

We’ve purchased two of these and are quite happy. The only struggles installing were due to the age of our home - the bolt is larger than our old locks and requires some additional wood to be chiseled out of the door jamb to allow proper function. Not the locks fault and makes me feel like it is a better quality lock, just wanted to call that out. Integrated seamlessly with the eufy home app. We love being able to unlock the door from the car when we’ll have groceries or something, or when it is raining so you don’t have to stand outside any longer than needed. Also allows remote unlocking - a family member stopped by the house when we were at work and we could simply lock and unlock for them from another city. Comes with physical keys as well so you have a backup. For the door that gets the most use, the batteries last a few months and you have tons of notice when it is time to replace them. Have never had an issue where we were locked out because the battery died, and even if you did you still have the physical keys. You can set up to 8 digits for the code, which I like. The buttons have held up well and the locks still look good a year later after install.

Easy setup and the battery life is good. I purchased 3 of these and never had issues. The app works well and it works through your WIFI and not Bluetooth so make sure your WIFI is strong otherwise your battery life will be short.

This product works as advertised and is responsive and opens and closes easily. It was really easy to install and the quality was good. The only issue I had was that the battery dies really quickly. I have tried two sets (different brand) and both seem to die rather quickly.

Great budget lock! We have had a touchpad Quikset deadbolt for many years that finally gave out. I think 10+ years of my boys yanking on it was finally enough. It thought it was locked when it was unlocked and vice versa. It had a good run. Thank you for your service. I shopped around a bit and wanted something secure but simple, high tech but affordable...and this Eufy seemed to fit the bill. We used to have an automatic vacuum from Eufy and it worked like a champ. So I had some brand familiarity and comfort with Eufy. This was a super easy install. It doesn't come with a full instruction manual so you have to scan a QR code to get to it. No biggy. It was all super intuitive and everything worked as stated. I did have to chisel out the recess where the deadbolt itself sits in the side of the door. But that was no biggy. Five minutes with a hammer and chisel after making a new outline with a pencil. Wifi integration was a snap through the app and so far everything is great. I've got it integrated with my google home and it seems to be running perfectly. Thanks Eufy for another great product!

I use eufy security on my property and I am very pleased with their products, so when I needed to change locks, I upgraded to these digital locks. As I have pets and I work odd schedules, my sons have to have keys to the house to feed and check on pets. This way each has their own code and I know who and when someone comes and goes. Also with the eufy app I can lock and unlock remotely, change and add who has access, and at a glance I can see if I remembered to lock the door when I left. Very easy install and sync with app and it works with Alexa. These require 4 AA batteries and seem to last a long while before needing changed, depending on which has the most use. Note: I bought rechargeable batteries just for this, that way I always have a set ready for when they need changing. The eufy app does give you a heads up when a locks battery is getting low. Good product.

The cost is very reasonable compared to other options I looked at, and honestly, I wasn’t expecting it to perform this well for the price. It feels like a great value. Day-to-day use has been smooth and straightforward. Everything works exactly as it should, no hassle. I also love how well it integrates with my smart home setup—it connected right away and responds quickly to commands. Overall, I’m really happy with it. Easy to install, affordable, simple to use, and smart home–friendly. Highly recommend!

A right faff to fit and set up involving creating a large hole in your door. I have an enormous collection of tools, but nothing "standard sized" cut the holes the right size. Then another faff setting it to work with alexa. After 1 day one of the two locks I bought stopped responding. They were both close enough to the router - about 10m with 1 wall between. Other wifi kit farther in the same direction still worked. Batteries measured at 1.2V (brand new, 1 day old!). Not even the keypad would operate the lock. Tried a reset etc ... nothing. Locks are about security and trust. Have since removed and am looking to return both locks - leaving big holes in 2 ruined expensive doors.

Great product, easy installation, but expect to replace the batteries a couple of times during the year Pros: - Physical buttons work great even with winter gloves (for me this is a huge advantage over touchscreen-type locks) - Can check and lock the door remotely - Easy to use and install - You get a notification if the door fails to lock Cons: - Batteries need to be replaced every ~3 months Usage tips: - You can turn off the lock sound using the app - For security, you can type a longer password and include the real password in it, like: 123102045 (1020 being the real password)
