This really is a great product. I’m impressed by its quality and fit. It fits my 99 suburban perfectly, sitting tight on the existing dash. The directions it comes with are very clear. They also have how-to videos on YouTube. Just follow along and it’ll work great. It looks pretty much brand new now and the noisy rattling from the busted old dash is gone. Mine was really badly cracked. Color match of the tan is perfect.

Do not settle for cheap imitations! If it is not from DashSkin you're wasting your time and money! This cover is an absolute perfect fit and perfect color match for your interior. I have installed 2 of these and one in my Tahoe and I couldn't be happier! I no longer have to look at that busted up sun damaged dash and not to mention no more rattles! It is amazing how it completely transforms the look of your interior. Absolutely worth every penny spent!

I rarely get overly excited about any products, but this dashskin is amazing! I chose it over some lower priced options because of the customer reviews and they were right. It is undiscernable from the original dash and once the original dash is cleaned and any large broken areas patched or supported, it only takes about 30 minutes to apply the included RTV silicone adhesive and set it in place. (You definitely do want to read the instructions first! There are several good tips in the instructions.) One strong suggestion is to get another 8 ounce or larger tube of clear RTV silicon adhesive. One tube comes with the skin, but I do not believe it was enough, even applying it as instructed. You may also want some to patch broken areas in your old dash before setting the skin in place so that it won't rattle under the new skin. RTV can be purchased at any Walmart, car parts location or hardware store. Also, make sure you have your weights and clamps and vertical supports ready before applying adhesive. (For the vertical surfaces, I used a couple baseball bats wedged between the dash and my car seat.) It is well worth the price and much better than replacing the entire dash.

The dash on my 98 Chevy Suburban had turned to Swiss cheese. Multiple pieces of the dash had broken free leaving big holes in the dash. I ordered the dash skin in tan and the color is a pretty good match for a 20 year old truck. The dash skin is pretty thin without some structure to the original dash I am not sure how well it would work. I used a "plastic welding" kit from HF to reassemble the dash. I cut the HF supplied mesh into small strips and used the soldering iron to tack it all together by melting the mesh strips across the dash and the dash pieces. Just like a big jigsaw puzzle. Once the dash was structurally sound I installed the dash cap as per the supplied instructions. I drilled small holes in the dash cap for the three screws that hold the original dash in place. That way I could remove them later if I needed too. I heated up the silicon sealant and applied a bead around the vents and edges. I used bags of rice and cardboard to hold it in place. Around some of the vents I used the caps off ballpoint pens to wedge the cap in place. It looks good and fits well. I should have used more care holding the Dash cap down near the windscreen edge you can see that it is a little raised along this edge. Will this all hold together long term? I don't know. If it does it will have been a great solution.
