This is a very sturdy, well made knife! Came with a razor-sharp edge! A+

Great knife. Very sharp and has a good weight for chopping. The only thing I don’t like is the leather string in the back. It gets in my way so I cut it off.

My wife is very happy with this knife. She says it cuts frozen foods as well as thawed meats and vegetables. She was very impressed with the sharpness of the blade and likes the scabbard for safely storing it as well. The price is very fair for a knife of this quality.

Good knife, comfortable, beefy. The edge retention can be a bit hit or miss, as I find myself sharpening it more than some other of my knives. For its weight it's surprisingly deft, allowing for precise cutting where you'd think this complete slab of a knife might not function. The handle is comfortable and you feel very much in control of your cuts. Can handle cutting through chicken bone SURPRISINGLY well (it's a great knife for carving up a rotisserie chicken!). It's been very durable in our use case, and overall it's a good addition to the stable of knives we use on a regular basis. Only took a star off because trying to sharpen it is a bit unwieldy until you get familiar with it.
