Excellent source of first class protein. A respectable and bestselling brand, and I continue to buy it; this mix-up is counterproductive. Thanks.

It has lots of good things going for it. Zero calorie Sugar, less cholestrol, good energy, negligible taste whatever flavour you may take, most importantly fibre which gives feeling of being full. The only one negative point is packaging. You have to order these 400 gram containers and gives only 8 servings. So basically you buy this huge amount of plastic weekly and keep tearing the pouches inside. You basically end up becoming a pouch potato if not a couch potato. If this product does well and i hope it does well Nestle will break all world records of creating 400 gram plastic containers in India. If they dont want to change 400 gram packaging then atleast give refill packs which are not plastic. I guess this they also won't do. Maybe once you have 12-13 of these you can try to grow plants in balconies. Add some protein in the soil too. As compared to gnc 2 kg i find this too inconvenient. There is only so much space in the kitchen unless Nestle expects us to store these in car boots.

I dont know how but taste has changed and earlier it just use to be from nestle. But I see new logo of dr reddys now. Maybe that the reason. But its more chalky now. Earlier use to be like milk powder and dissolves outright. Energy level is same.

My dad, a bed ridden patient, went on a PEG Tube feed 4 months ago. We were told to Increase his protein intake and recommended FRESUBIN. We instead worked One dose of ENSURE into his daily meals (as both products had comparable protein levels per serving) and were best trying to Minimise instant formula mixes - trying to stick to natural proteins like Dal etc. Despite so much attention to diet and full time care from the family, his muscles started laxing and when he recently got a bed sore and damaged skin, we were told his protein intake was very poor. I ordered this NESTLE PROTEIN mix and complimented his diet with freshly made Whey water (by spoiling milk at home) and soya bean paste. Within a week, his muscles gained vitality and skin healed. Higher Proteins are vital to bed patients - for sustainance as well as healing. The first week, we gave him about 2 servings of this mix per day, along with the whey water & soya paste (Avoided Egg, as it is heavy on digestion). This mix was very effective. #Protein mixes tend to cause Constipation in bedridden patients. After the first week of high protein diet to bring up his levels, going forward I have been using not more than 2 measuring-spoons of this mix Daily for my father.
