As most people have already said, please DO NOT buy this just to experiment for yourself, please do your own research and make sure you KNOW what you are doing before using this. This really uses needles to puncture skin, so if you aren't careful, you'll be getting infections or even worse, irreversible infections that require surgery or may even cause disfigurement. We have a friend who is a skin care expert and knows what to do to teach my wife how to use this, she was with us in person and showed my wife each step of the way to safely and properly use this. We did see skin improvements on my wife after 2 sessions of using this, but she stopped using it as she thought the risks outweighed any small benefits she saw. We ended up giving this away to our skin care friend and she only uses this roller exclusively for my wife when she goes in for her treatment.

This product is for those who have had or have been using microneedling treatment and for those who are eager to try microneedling after understanding what microneedling is.I have had microneedling treatment done by a professional before. I have also been using a manual microneedling device (manual derma roller) and recently tried an electric microneedling device. Any microneedling treatment or devices will leave red marks or even temporary dryness on my skin because of the micro injuries that the device has done to my skin. Those micro injuries promote new skin growth that overtime give a more vibrant look to my skin. Yes, it's not an instant process.Compared to manual microneedling or manual derma roller, this product is an upgraded version is more convenient. However, with manual or even electric microneedling devices, there are many different size of needles for different areas of the face. I am not sure if this product has other sizes available for purchase separately.Compared to an electric microneedling device, this product is not as intense as the electric one. So, it's better for a beginner who is eager to try. Bottom line, this is a great product and value for money, in my opinion.
