Fit my M416B1 military trailer, had to trim down the rubber inserts to get cotter pin to fit, also a good idea to get rubber shock covers.

Yup it's a Shock
What more can you say. It's a automotive shock. It goes up and down with resistance like a shock should. Packaged well though it is not wired closed so you do have to compress it to make it fit unlike other shocks which are generally wired closed and you need to pull it open. That's it no difference. Ummmm it's a pretty blue......
