Elite Care 4 button handset controller for dual motor riser recliner chairs - 5 pin connector

Wife was stuck in chair when dual control failed, managed to bodge original to get her out but needed new control ASAP. No brand name for chair as was made to order for disabled wife about 5yrs ago, but Okin name on control wiring, so took a punt on this as was 5 pin and ‘L’ shaped. Ordered 20th Feb, arrived this am (21st Feb) and works exactly as original. The 2 extra buttons also work as doubles for rear of chair. Could only be improved if it was a coiled cable, otherwise 5 Star all the way for swift delivery and compatibility. Plenty of 2 button controllers around but this was one of only a few with the 4 buttons which is what was required so as long as you have the 5 pin and ‘L’ shaped connection this might be the answer, saved us a lot of hassle, anyway.

Fitted recliner chair contacts and work well immediately.

this didnt work for us we ended up having to buy a new re liner. the controller does not fit all sherbourne chairs.

The controller did work and fitted OK. It did not have an elbow angle however as stated. This meant the wire was more likely to hang down and get caught up in the workings under the chair. I managed to catch a few inches of the wire with a cable tie to counteract this. We needed this item right away and did not have time to send it back. It did work well however.

Bought as a replacement for an branded part, worked well with the old chair.

Couldn't get the original control so tried this one which works just as well.
