40" Anime Vergil Sword Yamato Sword in Plastic with Display Stand and Belt,for Cosplay,Collectible Display

TLDR; Great quality, Broke at hilt because of my error, H bracket to make hilt attachment more sturdy, accurate to in game looks. I ordered this for Halloween and it broke but the glue held until after Halloween which was raining. The product itself is great quality but does require some care to not break. To my suprise the blade is made of wood which broke when i put weight on it (my error) +Great for roleplay! +Very accurate to the game version Could improve: -Add a metal H to keep the blade attached to the hilt. -The bumps are on the side where you hold it which makes it uncomfortable, but with gloves it is barable

Pros 1. Good looking plastic sword. Extremely look alike as in DMC Vergil's. This sword length is just right, like the real katana. 2. Lightweight, and the paint quality is extremely good. 3. I bought this for 28++ dollars. I'd say everything is extremely utmost the best. I could not ask for more. The price is too good. Absolutely worth the money. 4. Evertything that is described in the description, it is all delivered to me. Good quality sword, looks almost exactly like the game, but for some reason the metal on the sword carrier was rusted. I think it’s just my copy and I’ll return it for a new one

It's Decently sized. That's always one of my bigger concerns when buying replicas, but this one is very well sized. I own a metal replica of the Yamato, and this wooden version is almost exactly the same in length and size, if not only slightly smaller. It was also in perfect condition upon arrival. Good packaging. The wooden blade obviously isn't sharp or pointy, but that makes it perfect for conventions The sword came with the holster and stand as advertised. Which I honestly forgot about, so it was a pleasant surprise to recieve. As for durability, it's lightweight, so I wouldn't go using it for practice or swordplay while running the risk of scratching the paint or chipping the blade. Just a good prop for show. But just swinging it around, you can tell everything is fastened and sealed tight. So this is far from a downside in my honest opinion. Overall I would highly reccomend this for any fellow Vergil cosplayers looking for their own Yamato.

Very sturdy!

I decided to take a chance on this sword because it only had one review and I was a little skeptical. I am absolutely blown away by the quality of this sword. It is exactly as pictured! The sword itself measures 98 cm. The blade is made out of wood and is painted to look like textured steel. The majority of the rest of the sword is made out of sturdy plastic. It is the perfect weight for a costume, it is not heavy. The guard has a cool design on it, and the hilt is long enough to be held with two hands. The sheath is reflective and textured at the same time and it makes it look really premium and cool. The guard is ever so slightly loose, but that is a very small thing to worry about. It even comes with a holster to attach to your belt. The sword “clicks” into place in its sheath which is awesome. You could go to a place like Spirit (no offense to Spirit, I shop there every year!) and spend $20 on a really flimsy, plastic cheap feeling sword, or you could spend a little extra and get this. It’s absolutely worth it!

Loved how it looked and it held up good for about 4 weeks then he was air sparing on his own and the tip hit the ground and it Snapped right where the Handel and blade connect. Sad that it is so fragile but we ordered another sparing sword that is better suited for rougher play.

I’ve done my fair share of “cosplay” sword browsing, this has to be the best. For 45$ it’s durable, surprisingly so. Even after my cat knocked it over, and accidentally hitting stuff, nothing has come loose. I’ve recently got into devil may cry, and I’ve been trying to mimic Vergils “moves” and “sheathing technique”, so I’ve used it a fair share. Regardless of that, it still holds, and gives a satisfying click. Look you get what you pay for, a 45$ replica. It’s still on the cheaper end, so tread with care, the blade ISN’T bendy/flexible, it’s rigid with a bit of gib UNLIKE what was advertised. Nevertheless it’s a good buy.
