Consider me impressed!
Praise for these earpads around the internet is practically universal, but I was skeptical that it would not only be more comfortable than the stock pads, but also improve the sound of the PortaPros. Well, consider me impressed! Bass is not only fuller but also tighter, whereas before it sounded flabby and poorly defined. The overall character is better balanced, smoother, and clearer, and the imaging is excellent. And yes, these pads are significantly more comfortable than the very thin OEM pads.

So much better than stock pads
If you have Porta Pros, I'm sure you're aware that the pads basically start disintegrating immediately. These are the pads you want to get when they finally fall apart on you. Much more comfortable. Sound quality isnt affected at all. Extremely easy to install. Pop off the old ones, pop on the new ones. Simple.

Koss Porta Pro Must-Have Upgrade
The hype on these are real. Not only do they add more padding but they also alter the sound in a positive way. They move the driver further from my ear so I can hear more of the other frequencies and adjust bass on my device, as needed. They were such a great upgrade that I bought another pair of headphones.

Good but color fades in sun
Comfortable but make sure they at aren’t left in the sun, the color fades quickly. Also because they are thicker than normal ones it deforms when folding headphones up

Quality foam
Really liking these. The gray goes with the retro vibe and the thicker foam is definitely an improvement. It's been a cold winter here in northern Virginia 2025, and these have been keeping my ears warm on my daily commute on the Metro. Picture shows a comparison between the old smaller black ear pads and the larger new pad. It fits well in the case no problem too!

THE Best. Period.
As a lifelong PortaPro fan, I can't recommend these enough. Way more comfortable than stock pads, plus it's fun to swap colors. They change the sound slightly vs. stock pads but in a good way ( more clarity & soundstage, IMO). At one point I tried the Dekoni equivalent, but didn't like them as much; they weren't as soft & comfortable as Yaxi's.

Real nice looking comfortable earpads in harder to find colors. Makes my Koss porta pros very nice to wear.

These are a great upgrade
Very nice upgrade. The comfort and nice cushioning is great. I can't believe I didn't have them earlier. They were easy to install and fit great.

Really comfy and stylish! Might even make headphones sound a bit better but that could be placebo. Either way very happy with these!
