HDX 320028 34-Compartment Double Sided Organizer with Impact Resistant Polymer and Customizable Removable Plastic Dividers,Black/Orange

For many years, I had a similar two-lid case such as this that had thin cheap plastic. The cover broke and I thus started a quest to find a replacement for the small paint jars that I stored inside. I wanted something a lot better than my former carrying case. This is an excellent case that suits my needs. The plastic is rugged, the carrying handle thick and robust to the hand, and the locking mechanisms tight and secure. It’s as if this case was designed for the construction worker. I’ve no qualms about carrying this around or fears that the lids would pop open and the contents would spill out. The orange Snap-Locks snap tightly and secure---they’re beefy tabs that won’t break after repeated opening and closing and really do snap tightly to close the lids securely without any gaps. The product engineering tolerances are superb. I really admire the rectangular handle and the flat plastic shelves that don’t bow; therefore, when I open a lid with the case sitting vertically, the jars don’t spill out because the shelves are perfectly level. There are fifteen 6cm x 6.5cm and two 4.5cm x 9.5cm compartments on each side (30 square and four rectangle compartments total per box). The orange vertical tabs can be slid and removed to expand the size of the fifteen square compartments to create longer rows. The 4.5cm x 9.5cm rectangle compartments are fixed spaces on top. The back plastic wall is black with tiny grid groove texture. The lid plastic isn’t entirely clear transparent, but more of a textured translucent clear; nonetheless, one can still see the contents inside. The product design and engineering make for a great carrying case for all sorts of small parts and objects with no worries of losing anything once the four orange Snap-Tabs are locked tight on top.

Great organizer. Parts stay in their compartment even when it’s turned upside down to access the other side. I have 4 more because of the quality.

Gonna start out by saying that some people get different versions of this product. Some people get a version that has an "HDX" logo on it, and say that it's not so good. I did not get this version, I got the "Tactix" version. With that out of the way I want to say that this thing is totally amazing. I like to build keyboards so I use this to keep my keyboard parts inside like key switches. You can take out the dividers easily for absolutely anything that you need to fit inside. Then you can simply store the dividers in another slot. I currently own one of these, and I might buy 5 just cause I can totally see myself with 5 of these stacked on top of each other with all the storage space you could ever need. Not to mention they're only $10, like wow? Whatever kind of tool or part you need to store It'll most likely fit in here. Just pick one up seriously they're only $10 wow.

I love these for storing small things so i ordered 4 of these for 9.99 a piece in 2020. Now I went back to purchase more in 2023 and now they're up to $25. I guess blame inflation, supply & demand, etc. But man. Harder to swallow the new price.

I'm happy to report that I am fully satisfied with this purchase. I just received it and it is well designed and made. The fasteners are rigid and I expect to be using this long into the future. Someone's review mentioned a 'cheap' sticker that takes a lot of effort to remove and they were bothered by that. I would be too. However, it looks like the manufacturer took note, and has changed the stickers to be EASY PEEL, as you will see in the attached photo and video. I'm happy with this purchase.

I love this case. The dividers fit snugly in there slots and don't easily. The latch mechanism works great and snaps closed nicely. I also like that there are storage spaces on both sides of the case. It works great for holding an assortment of screws, nuts, etc.. With some other cases I've used (although they were just a few dollars cheaper) the dividers were loose and the latches don't always want to stay closed. After my first purchase, I bought two more.

This was the closest thing we could find for our needs. We use it in a junk drawer to organize all the bits - tacks, paper clips, pencils, etc. My only wish is that, in addition to the short slats, we could remove the long slats as well. We used a small rotary tool to remove them so that would could put bigger objects like notebooks and tape on one side. The reason we chose this organizer instead or just drawer dividers is because it’s easier to pack up and move (literally move houses - military)... or pull out of a drawer when working on projects. It’s a very sturdy container. It would be great for workshop knickknacks as I assume it is intended for.

Does what it's made for

I use these for storing HO scale model trains. Perfect width and depth, and I line the compartments with felt so nothing gets scratched. They fit nicely stored vertically on my bookshelf.
