Will Not Dissapoint
I love this cordless vacuum cleaner!!! The transition from going over carpets right onto vinyl flooring is so smooth and there are no hiccups. I no longer have to sweep my vinyl floors in my kitchen or in my bathrooms now that I have this vacuum cleaner. The suction is awesome and it doesn’t leave anything behind. I also don’t have to go over one spot several times in order for the vacuum cleaner to pick up the dirt on the floors!! My favorite part about this cordless vacuum cleaner is putting it back on the charging dock and watching the self-emptying feature go at work!!! This cordless vacuum cleaner is very light in weight and therefore it isn’t heavy when I’m pushing it across my carpeted floors..Overall this is the best cordless vacuum cleaner that I have owned, and I’m very happy and pleased that I decided to purchase it!!!

I love this vacuum!
I need 5 more stars for this review!! I received my new Shark yesterday, put it together without the instructions because it was that easy. I'm 68 yrs old, have HATED vacuuming for as long as I can remember...until yesterday. This vacuum was made by angels for sure. It has great suction on both floors and carpet, it moves easily between floor types and OMG that cleaning dock is a game changer. Since I vacuumed again today, it's safe to say I now love vacuuming if only to watch the accumulated dust being sucked out into the dock. Great price. I can't comment on battery life at this time. I just hope this machine continues to work as well as it does right now. Thank you Shark people!!

Great product
I wish I knew about this lightweight vacuum earlier. When you have two Goldens and she’d like crazy this has been so easy to use . Plus it’s cordless and very lightweight. Plus once done it sucks tge dog hair into the container and then just dump it out when full. The filter is easy to clean as well. Will never go back to the big clunky heavy vacuum again.

Dyson's Animal V11 or Shark? Here's my opinion
Let me preface this review that we have owned this shark for 5 months now and:1. I'm a clean freak, Type A person, who uses the cordless vacuum every other day, if not daily for the entry, kitchen and dining room. I use it about every 5 - 6 days for the entire 1st floor to catch those dust bunnies.2. We are a family of 4 with 2 smaller dogs, living in a 2 story home with a lower level. Our main level is wood floor with area rugs and then tile by the back door/laundry room.3. We have multiple vacuums (cordless, corded, whole house, and our beloved Tinco wet/dry) - yes they are all used :-)4 We're a Dyson family - meaning we own multiple Dyson appliances and have supported them for nearly 23 years. (We still have our corded Dyson we bought in 2004.)When our 2nd (after less than 3 years) cordless Animal A11 $500+ Dyson stopped sucking as well, and I started feeling the debris hit my feet when I vacuumed, I about lost it. This was our 2nd Animal Dyson in less than 9 years. WTF? (Even though you're not supposed to), my sweet engineer hubby took it completely apart, cleaned it, replaced filters - thank you Amazon, etc. It still didn't help. The vacuum looked brand new, yet it couldn't suck of sand or the tree pine needles.Because I really didn't want to spend another $500+ (even though Black Friday is great deals for Dyson), we decided to try this Shark after doing lots of research (both magazine articles online and reviews). Here's a comparison between Dyson Animal V11 + this Shark:Weight: Shark is a little bit lighter, but not enough to purchase it only for the weight.Suction: Assuming the suction of the Dysons when they were brand new, both the Dyson and the Shark have very similar suction. Both pick up debris equally as well for tile, wood and the area rugs.Battery Life: Both hold the same duration that I need to vacuum all the surfaces I'd like to on a weekly basis, which is the entire first floor (living, study room, dining, kitchen, 1/2 bath, 4-seasons, laundry, 2 entry points), plus two sets of stairs.Noise: The shark seems a little bit more quiet. I'm sure there's someone online who's already did the noise level test you could google quick if this is important to you.Versatility: My preference here is definitely the Dyson. It is able to get underneath our entire couch and the head handles better on the stairs. Other than those two things, the Shark does well. When it's on carpet, the head of the Shark seems to be more loose and it can be annoying when trying to vacuum.Features: While Dyson has various attachments, I found I didn't use most of them. The wand, skinny long thingie is much better on the Dyson (I use it to get the lint stuck on the front of the dryer door, and the Shark cannot seem to reach it). What I REALLY love about the Shark is the stand that suctions all the vacuumed debris into its container at the bottom. Seriously, so smart. However, this does take up floor space, if you're limited. Whereas the Dyson hangs on the wall. For us, the floor space is well, so well worth it know that I'm not opening the contents of the vacuum whenever I use it. (Yes, I know I don't need to, but Type A girl, here, remember?)Value for the money: Impressively the Shark was a lot more cheaper (well over half) the cost of the Dyson.Overall, I'd recommend the Shark, even with the caveat of its lack of getting underneath the furniture, more loose head (making stairs more difficult to vacuum).Would I buy this Shark again? Maybe... I'd like to see how the Tinco cordless handles. I really like their wet/dry vacuum!!!Hope this review helps you!
