Great value router bit set (I paid $99 USD with free delivery to New Zealand). Had them a few weeks now and the bits I’ve used have performed well in my Dewalt hand held routers. Would totally recommend to anyone looking for a basic, good quality set without breaking the bank. Also had no issues with the case or packaging as some reviewers here have reported

I'm just getting started in the routing business and picked this setup for my cabinet building projects. These appear to be top quality bits that should last a while. My only 'beef' is the case they come packed in. The the bits fit very tightly into some plastic bushings that are in the wooden box and they are pretty tough to remove. There is also a card that describes the bits too but that falls out of place and its a real pain to reposition when you want to close the box. I got this set because of the box but the box looks good but is designed by the "B" team. Great idea, poorly executed, hence removing a few stars from their 'mounting system' rating. At this point I'd probably still by knowing this short coming but in future, I might have my own router cabinet with bit holders built in and getting a set like this won't be necessary, however I think its a good starter set from a company that makes good routers too.

The Bosch bits are known for being very solid mid-range options that will last quite a while and won't break your wallet. If you aren't ready to step up to the very top end (and pay through the nose), they are a good option. This kit arrives in an extremely solid and attractive box. The wood and the plastic quality are quite good. The bits themselves are obviously not typical entry or lower grade bits. The carbide is flawless and of good quality. The epoxy (etc) finish is well applied, and the shafts are well machined. They last a fair bit longer than entry-grade bits, but they aren't so expensive that you will curse yourself if one gets dropped or damaged. Any grade of carbide can shatter in the right circumstances. It's a good idea to learn on cheap bits, but to use professional grade bits (like these) once you know what you are doing. The only negative of this kit is that they don't offer alternatives. Bosch should have a roundover kit with just roundovers, a straight bit kit, a dovetail bit kit, etc. Instead they have this kit (which mixes shank sizes), a couple of kits for cabinetry, and more extensive kits for 1/4" shanks. Those of us who use 1/2" shanks on router tables are kind of left out in the cold.

This is a nice selection of 1/4” shaft bits w/ a good storage box. Not inexpensive but, quality bits last a long time if treated properly

Although they are pricey, Bosch tools are top notch. This is a great selection of different router bits for a starting set.
