Not as good as listing implies...
Specs. listed in description sound so good... But the reality is quite different. The data speeds fluctuate a lot as the drive gets filled. It goes from around 3 seconds per gigabyte at first to around 15 seconds per gigabyte as the drive fills up. So productivity slows down, down... It's not "bad" but it's just not as good as it should be.

Not for everybody but works for me
I bought this external drive as a backup for a laptop. I liked it's small size and small price. The small capacity (120 GB) is not so much of a problem for me in this application. It gets hotI noticed the outside case was always warm to the touch. This is a common issue with SSD drives, apparently (I have a Western Digital SSD that is also warm.) But Crystal Disk Info showed the interanl temperature to reach 77 deg C (170 deg F). Since most manufacturers list 70C as the max temperature, I was ready to send this unit back. But when I hooked it up to the computer for which I bought it, it ran at a lower temp, between 55 & 60C.It's slowCrystal Disk Mark showed it's read speed to be around 300MB/sec, write speed a bit faster. While a modern standard spinning HDD runs at a bit less than 100, my WD SSD will do 500MB/sec.However, I'm only doing incremental backups once an hour, so speed is not critical, and the drive is in standby (not operating) most of the time. So far, it works fine for what I need. I'll keep it.
