As far as I can tell, made with some sort of alloy. Comes with quick release spring bars. Works best with two piece straps, could easily be used with a nato or zulu strap as well. Fits pretty much perfectly in the lug cavity of my G5600. This was a touch more expense than similar adapters but as previous reviews have stated, this one fits perfectly. I've had older style Jaysandkays adapters which were bulky and plastic, but this is going back 10 years so I'm sure the design has changed for them too

With this adapter I was able to replace the original worn out 18mm Casio resin watchband with a metal 22mm watchband. They are very easy to put on and are high quality that will last.

I bought these 16mm-20mm lug adaptors for my Bulova Mil Ships watch in order to use a 22mm hex link bracelet. The watch is stunning and looks very retro. Like a blast from the 60's. The finish on the lug adaptors match the case perfectly.

Backstory: I had a plastic adapter from another strap for my square gshock 5610. The strap was so so, but I loved the adapter for other straps, at first. It ended up feeling a little too large and being uncomfortable, so I tried this metal one because it looked smaller. It is. The metal is fine too and though it doesn't blend as smoothly with the black resin, it's totally fine. This one goes from 16mm lugs to a 22mm strap. It was far, far easier to install with the quick release pins -- as easy as quick pins on a normal watch. This is not necessarily fit to a gshock, so there is a couple of mm of travel, unlike my previous plastic adapter, which fit perfectly snug. It's not free-swinging and doesn't fold under the case, just a few degrees of movement. The travel might make it very slightly more comfortable, but I could see the movement causing some extra wear on the resin case over the very long run. A minor concern but not a complaint. My gshock is now super comfortable on a 22mm FKM with a folding clasp. Haven't tried a one-piece strap with this adapter, but it seems like that should work fine too.

Works fantastic on the Casio G-Shock G100. The adapter is well made; finish is smooth with no visible marks from machining. It's made of steel so it should be very durable. The only thing I would have liked would have been the option to use the watch's pins as well. Having smaller wrists the original band never felt comfortable and never allowed the watch to actually sit on my wrist. It was always either too tight or loose. The adapter fixed that. Paired with the correct sized band and the watch sits flush and stays put. Currently I am using a silicone band but will find a resin rubber one so that it matches better.
