Great code reader
VDIAGTOOL VD10 OBD2 Code Reader – a great tool for every car owner If you’re looking for an easy-to-use, reliable, and affordable car diagnostic tool, the VDIAGTOOL VD10 OBD2 Scanner (2025 New Version) is a fantastic choice. Whether you're a regular driver, a car enthusiast, or a mechanic, this scanner makes it simple to check your car’s engine, turn off the Check Engine Light (CEL), and monitor important data. One of the best things about the VDIAGTOOL VD10 is how easy it is to use. There’s no need for extra apps or Bluetooth connections. Simply plug it into your car’s OBD2 port, and it starts working right away. The buttons are simple to understand, and the screen is clear and bright, making it easy to read the information. Even if you don’t know much about cars, this scanner explains the error codes, so you won’t have to search online for what they mean. It’s a great tool for beginners and professionals alike. This scanner can do a lot more than just read error codes. Here are some of its best features: If your Check Engine Light (CEL) is on, this tool will tell you the problem and help you clear the code once the issue is fixed. You can see real-time data like engine temperature, RPM, and oxygen sensor readings. This helps you spot problems before they get worse. It captures a snapshot of the engine's condition when a fault happens. This is very useful for finding issues that don’t happen all the time. If you need to pass an emissions test, this scanner quickly checks if your car is ready. Works with almost all cars made from 1996 onward, including American, European, and Asian models. The VDIAGTOOL VD10 works quickly and accurately. It reads error codes in seconds and shows detailed information about the problem. The real-time data updates fast, so you can monitor your engine while driving and catch potential issues before they become serious. Many OBD2 scanners require a phone app or batteries, but this one does not. Just plug it into your car’s OBD2 port, and it turns on automatically. No charging, no setup, no WiFi or Bluetooth required—just a simple, reliable tool that works when you need it. Everyday Car Owners – If you want to save money on mechanic visits and check your engine problems yourself, this tool is perfect. Car Enthusiasts & DIY Mechanics – Great for those who like to fix their own cars and keep track of engine performance. Used Car Buyers – Before buying a car, use this scanner to check for hidden engine issues. Mechanics & Professionals – It may not replace high-end diagnostic tools, but it’s a great quick-check scanner. Fleet Managers – Useful for monitoring multiple vehicles and keeping engines running smoothly. Pros & Cons Pros: Very easy to use, even for beginners Reads and clears Check Engine Light (CEL) codes quickly Shows real-time engine data Supports all OBD2 cars (1996 and newer) Doesn’t require a smartphone app or extra power Compact and lightweight Affordable price compared to professional tools Cons: Only works for engine-related issues (doesn’t check ABS, SRS, or transmission codes) No Bluetooth or WiFi connectivity (but this also makes it easier to use) The VDIAGTOOL VD10 OBD2 Scanner (2025 New Version) is one of the best car diagnostic tools for the price. It’s fast, accurate, and easy to use, making it perfect for checking engine problems, turning off the Check Engine Light, and monitoring live data. If you want a simple, no-hassle tool that helps you understand your car’s health and avoid unnecessary mechanic fees, this is a great choice. It pays for itself after just one or two uses! Highly Recommended!

A great easy to use OBD2 scanner
What a great fault code reading device. It’s small and robust enough to keep in your glove box, and should it be needed it’s SO simple to use. Just plug it into the cars OBD2 socket, turn the ignition on, press enter to access the diagnostic menu and then choose the Read Code option and it quickly scans for any engine fault code registered by the car and if a code is found it will advise on what the fault code relates to. Brilliant! It can also clear fault codes once fixed and can provide you with live engine data if needed. It’s probably too basic for a car mechanic, but it is a fantastic device for the layperson and for the price it's great value for money.

Good budget code reader 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Great little code reader that is great value for the money, It gives you all basic information with regards im readiness and freeze frame data and status of evap and emissions systems. Easy to use so anyone could navigate there way around the screens even those that are not familiar with vehicle diagnostics or engine fault codes. Bought for my son to keep in his glovebox as if a Engine management light were to come on this little tool would be able to identify the issue in most cases, he could then call me for help having the fault data codes from this little machine. It would indicate the error code and explanation of the basic fault and you would have an option to erase it, just follow the on screen prompts.

Easy to use code reader
Small and compact, but don't be fooled this code reader doesn't disappoint. I've tried this on various different vehicles over the last week or so. I found it easy to use, quick to connect, fit perfectly in the hand, nice clear screen, easy to understand instructions. The code look up is also very handy. Turn out the engine check light at the press of a button. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking to buy a code leader.

Easy to use
The device has arrived well packaged. Tested in on a Citroen and a Nissan which showed that it is compatible with different brands of cars. It is easy to use and straight forward, plug the connector to your OBD2 and put the key on ignition, the device starts up and press scan which shows you if there are any faults. Read the code and Google it to try and understand what the code means. The device functioned well, easy to use and also allows you to clear codes once you fix the issue (if it is a minor issue, for major issues please consult a garage). Overall this device is good for anyone who's got a car as it can give you a basic idea of any lights on your dashboard. It is small in size and can fit in the glove box or can be placed in the trunk.

Splendid!
Absolutely perfect and fraction of the price of having a garage read a code. Plugged it in, read code, saw it wasn't major, investigated... Found sensor that wiring sheaf had come off..recovered and cleared code, all for under £20...now in glovebox for any future codes and issues. 2016 Honda Civic Diesel.

Basic but good
Nicely priced bargain basement reader that does the job. After putting dpf cleaner in my tank and resetting the light with the code reader the light has remained off for the last 300 miles. Some garage quoted me £600 to repair and replace. So this reader saved me £587.

As a "shade tree" mechanic fixing my own vehicles I can't do much without a good (cheap) code reader. My old BT model would not connect to my phone, so I ordered this all-in-one setup. Works great, easy to use, no phone app or finicky BT required. Most surprisingly it comes with a decent little manual that gives helpful background info on ODBII codes - in good English! Fast connection, accurate readings and reset, very easy to use. A great value.
