Amazing cleansing balm that removes all makeup without drying the skin
I’ve been using the Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Original for a few weeks now, and it has quickly become a staple in my skincare routine. It melts makeup effortlessly, including waterproof mascara and long-wear foundation, without any harsh rubbing. The texture is smooth and gentle, and it rinses off clean without leaving a greasy residue. My skin feels soft, clean, and hydrated after each use, which makes it the perfect first step for double cleansing. I also appreciate that it works well for sensitive skin and doesn’t irritate my eyes. If you’re looking for an effective, easy-to-use cleansing balm that truly does its job, this one is definitely worth trying.

Highly recommended
I absolutely love this cleansing balm! BANILA CO Clean It Zero melts makeup so easily, even waterproof mascara and long-wear foundation. The texture starts as a balm and turns into a silky oil once you massage it into the skin. It cleans deeply without drying or irritating my face, and my skin feels soft, clean, and hydrated after using it. I have sensitive skin, and this works perfectly for me—no breakouts or redness. I also love that it doesn’t leave a greasy residue and rinses off completely. A little goes a long way, so the jar lasts quite a while. This is now a must-have in my skincare routine, especially for removing full makeup at the end of the day.

Best Cleansing Balm on the Market
Banila Co was known for their cleansing balm since it came out in 2006 and they're still staples on the market. Although there is much more competition, they still remain a popular choice and I can see why! I've used a lot of the popular newer brands of cleansing oils but I have very clog-prone and sensitive skin so I'm pretty picky with my skincare and haven't found many first cleanse products that are suitable with my skin type. I saw that Banila Co. has come out with many versions of their original cleansing balm so I was curious to try them. I haven't used Banila Co. since the 2010s. I bought their tea-tree pore cleansing edition and was very impressed. Usually korean cleansing oils are more heavily fragranced but this does not have a scent. It's buttery smooth and easy to spread. It cleanses off all my makeup but I have to say I do still use the heroine make mascara cleansing brush as this doesn't take off all my mascara but most oil cleansers I've used don't always get all of it. After it washes off your skin will feel like a baby's bottom. I was surprised, my skin didn't feel the least bit heavy nor stripped. Even though this is the pore cleansing edition my skin was still left very soft and supple. I would say even if you have sensitive skin, your skin won't be irritated and your pores will be left clean! The blackheads on my nose have gotten slightly smaller and makeup layers much better. I was able to purchase this one on sale and would probably wait for it to be on sale again to purchase. I've noticed korean cleanser tend to be much more expensive than japanese ones but when the cleansing balm is on sale, I'd say there's decent competition there. In terms of korean skincare I would say this one is currently my favorite cleansing oil.

10/10 a skincare staple.
Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm has officially earned a permanent spot on my skincare shelf. ✨ From the moment it melts onto my skin, it dissolves every trace of makeup, sunscreen, and the day’s chaos without any irritation. My face feels soft, clean, and actually hydrated afterward — no tightness, no residue, just that perfect fresh-skin glow. It’s gentle, effortless, and honestly one of the best cleansing balms I’ve tried.

5 Years of Using My Holy Grail Cleansing Balm
I’ve been using this cleansing balm on subscription for at least 5 years, and honestly I can’t use anything else anymore. It’s fragrance-free, comes with a very easy-to-use plastic spatula, and has a creamy texture that melts instantly on the skin. Even heavy mascara comes off easily without rubbing when you emulsify it with warm water. My skin never feels tight after cleansing, and it works well even with double cleansing. This is one of those products I trust enough to use every single day. I even transfer it into a travel container and bring it with me on every trip that’s how essential it is for me. Pros: •Fragrance-free •Creamy, easy-to-use texture •Removes heavy makeup without harsh rubbing •Spatula included and hygienic Cons: •None. I’m too spoiled by this to switch to anything else.

Cleansing balm
One plus point is that it does not dry out my skin. But for those seeking the thoroughly-cleansed makeup removal, i'd say this is not for you. I still have to use micellar water with cotton pad after that to fully wipe away the thick foundation that i applied on to go on stage. However, it soothes your skin and texture is very smooth. One jar like this can be used up to 6 months, as I did a lot of makeup every day. Just get a tip-sized finger amount and rub against your face for abt 2 minutes, no need water for this step.

I bought 3 diffferent ones and lemme tell you...
So I have used the Banilla Zero Original Balm for about a year now. Love it. A little goes a long way and it makes my face feel soooo good. As I was getting ready to order another one, I saw the Citrus and the Avocado ones and well, I just had to try them out, too! Here are MY thoughts and opinions on the three. Please note this is not a paid (or given to me to try out) review. It's just lengthy because I have a lot to say. For the Original Balm, it is lightweight and soothing to my skin - no breakouts or redness to the skin which is rare for me. As I stated before, I have used it for almost a year now. Not every day, as I don't wear makeup, but more like every other day. Easy on and easy off and my skin just loves it. Think of it as a good Spring-Summer part of your face wash program. For the Citrus Balm, I use it every morning now. Just smelling that bust of orange is a grand way to start my mental day! It is thicker than the Original, so again, a little goes a long way. My face just soaks it in as I massage it in and my skin says ahhhhh.... As it is thicker and more creamy, I can see it as an Autumn/early Winter face wash. For the Avocado Balm, on those days that I am stressed out and have not had enough hydration, my face looks and feels it. My wrinkles are deeper and my skin more uneven (I am up there in age and miracles don't happen overnight, ladies) and that's when I reach for the Avocado Balm. I wish I had a vat to dip my body in. It is sooo rich and soooo thick! My face sings like a group of chorus ladies in church (think Sister Act) HALLELUJAH!!! I can feel the stress and the dirt melting away as the wrinkles lessen (ain't nothin' getting rid of them totally, and I'm ok with that) as my moisture level rises and my mental level evens out. I think this is more for extra dry and flaky skin which is why I don't need it every day. I can see this one as a Full-On Winter face wash, however, I live in Florida, USA, so... I'm going to use it anyway! lol! I will state, for me, I need more water to get the emulsion to thoroughly activate for both the Citrus and Avocado Balms. My fingers will hit a spot that I need to add more water to (I can definitely tell) to get it to kick in properly. That's because the balm is so rich and creamy! With the three Balms that I purchased and use, after everything has been rinsed off, my face feels incredibly soft, smooth, clean, and hydrated. There it is in nutshell. All in all, Ladies and Gents (I have no doubt this would be great for a man's face as well), I am absolutely thrilled with my purchases and keep coming back to their page to see the next one I want to try. I can't wait!
