Columbia Men's Ventero Sandal

I walk 5 or 6 times an average week, a few miles at a time. I have been wearing these sandals for 4 years now! They are not just comfortable, they are incredibly long-wearing!When the black sole first wore all the way through, I ordered a new pair, but kept these to do my walks. (Why wear out my new stuff?) They were still comfortable, so I continued wearing them. Now I am starting to wear the next layer all the way through. They are STILL comfortable!!It's like Columbia sandals get more comfortable with time. They also get lighter! lol! I started wearing my second pair of Columbias for dressier occasions (I'm retired) and eventually wore through the sole of the second pair, and so bought a third pair....and a fourth. And this first pair is finally starting to tear and will soon give up the ghost.I am a former marathon runner and very used to premium footwear, but Columbia sandals have got to be about the best footwear I've ever owned.

This is a nice sandal. Surprisingly it fit correctly in size 15D... A rarity as I have sent back quite a few for refunds of recent. These are comfortable also. Of course, they are immediately sold out in 15D as I tried to order a second pair. Thus I looked a lot further and found the ECCO brand, Model # 069564 on Amazon and they were in stock. I found them to also be a correct fit in 15D and nicely comfortable. The ECCO's are of a bit more robust design; more of a hiking style. Excellent product. Recommend both.

I hate buying shoes online but I have a hard time finding shoes to fit so I took a chance on these by reading the reviews. I'm a women but my foot is so wide that I have to wear men shoes so they can fit comfortably and have a problem finding the right shoe size, I normally wear 7 1/2 4E in men walking shoes. They didn't come in 1/2 sizes so I took a chance on a the bigger size 8, after getting them I wish I would have gotten the size 7. I's bigger than I would like them but are comfortable, on the right sandal on the front strap it's slightly bulky and rubs my foot some so I can't wear them as long as I would like to. Besides that the sandals are very comfortable to wear and walk in. I decided to keep them even though they are a little big because my oldest son isn't too far from my shoe size and I will most likely give them to him but I will wear them until then.

The tips of my toes rub on the ridge around the front of the sandal. The old pair did not have that ridge. I don't like it, am trying to get used to it. Because of this they seem too small but the next size up would have been way too big. If the ridge didn't go across the front they would fit fine.

I ordered these sandals for my husband because he would not throw away his very old (8-9 years) pair that he had bought and warn for many years. They were starting to fall apart and didn't look nice anymore. He was very leery considering he would have to break in a new pair and he feared that the new pair would not be as comfortable as his old pair. When the package arrived he put the new sandals on and immediately threw the old ones away. He said that they fit like a glove and it was like walking on clouds. He also commented on the nice arch and toe support that he doesn't remember the old pair ever having.

Can't wear these sandals! The straps for the Velcro are way too long. I contacted Columbia and all they offered was for me to send them to them to repair. I'm not spending more money on this trash. Very disappointed in these. $60 down the drain.

For many years, I wore the Columbia Slate Slide. It was perfect. Wore out 3 pairs of them. I was devastated when they were discontinued. I searched far and wide on the internet with no luck. Wasted money on 4 other brands and styles, but ended up throwing them away. I avoided this sandal because it had a back strap, unlike my slides. I gave in, bought a pair of these, and I wore them all day the first day, and they felt like a comfortable pair of house slippers. If I lost these today, I would immediately buy another pair. I highly recommend them if you liked the Columbia Slate Slide.

Already feel like they've been broken in, soft and comfortable. These are the BEST sandals that I have ever worn. Would buy again, and again. I will wear these the whole summer. I usually wear a 10.5 M shoe and I bought a size 10 sandal and it fits perfect. Yes, they are expensive, but you get what you pay for. These are worth it. If you want the best for your feet, get these.

I had a old pair of these sandals that lasted me for years and they were really comfortable. I has the mistake if replacing them with a cheaper brand which did really feel cheap, heavy and uncomfortable. So I sent them back and got a new pair of these. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Plus légère et confortable que mes Merell que je ne trouve nulle part dans les circuit de vente. Durabilité à voir encore, mais ça semble bien parti après un petit mois.

Unas sandalias muy cómodas para caminar. La suela de piel es muy agradable. Me parece un producto muy recomendable, una buena compra.
