Great product! As a runner, I really appreciate a hand/wrist strap for pepper spray to keep it easily accessible while keeping my hands free. My last one was also from Sabre, and when I damaged the cute pink strap, they were awesome and replaced it for free even though it was totally my fault. So when I lost it, I was thrilled to see Sabre makes this one with a light. Even though I wear a head light, extra visibility is always a bonus, especially if you’re trying to find or use a lifesaving device in the dark when every second counts! Plus this one says it sprays up to 13 seconds and up to 12 feet, both more than most others this size. I gave it a quick test spray when I got it as they recommended, and I was surprised to see it actually went a full 12 feet! This is much farther than my other ones this size did. It’s a solid stream gel, so the wood won’t blow it around as easily. The light is actually both brighter and lighter than I expected it to be. And the strap is a little longer than my pink one was, so it actually fits around my wrist even with my winter running jacket on, although I probably won’t be able to layer underneath it which is fine because I can put it around my fingers like I used to. It’s good, heavy duty Velcro. I couldn’t get the product manual code to work, and the search bar on their website doesn’t pull up this model number, but I found it by scrolling under the manuals. I was pleasantly surprised to see they offer a free replacement guarantee if the product fails anytime before the expiration date. The expiration date on mine is in 3 1/2 years. There’s also a one year warranty on the wrist strap. The only thing they could do better would be to reverse the direction of the Velcro covering the battery because you can accidentally pull it off when you’re trying to take the wrist strap off. But I like everything else about it so much that I’ve already ordered replacement pepper gel just in case I would need it, and I ordered a few extra for friends.

So easy to use and hold during runs! I even velcro it to my purse sometimes at night. Great quality and effectiveness with the spray and light up feature!

I love this pepper spray! As a man, I never expected to be jumped running. That experience made me carry a self-defense tool at night. Though I haven’t used it, I’m confident in its effectiveness. The gel formula makes me feel secure. The product feels high-quality, and the neon color alerts people to its presence. However, the flashing light didn’t work on mine. Despite this, I highly recommend it. I wouldn’t want to be without it. Top quality and build.

I bought 3 of these for myself and family members. My mom often walks at night and early morning hours when it’s not so hot. One morning while I was walking I noticed a bright neon yellow light about 1/4 a Mile away from me on the sidewalk. As we got closer I noticed it was my mom walking with her Sabre pepper gel with light. I couldn’t believe how bright it was and how far away I was able to see it. The pepper gel is potent and sprays easily 12 feet for about 15 seconds. Makes me feel better knowing my family has an effective means of self defense that also helps make them more visible on their walks.
