This little drive is built very well and works great! It is crafted out of metal with a plastic slider on the bottom. I also really like the size of keyring hole on this drive, which makes very easy to slip on a keyring. Many other flashdrives out there have tiny holes which can make it difficult to use. Regarding setup and performance. For me, it was literally plug & Play on my Mac and I found the USB 3.2 performance totally adequate for transferring and reading files. Also, you can easily password protect this drive if you wish. For dependability and reliability, I would recommend this drive and it is very affordable. Please Note: The keyring and tag in my photos do not come with the flash drive. I typically get these on Amazon or a local office suppy store and I highly recommend using these on small flash drives, so they don't disapear into the "Flash drive Matrix." :)

I have purchased about 10 of these flash drives over the years to store my data. They are very reliable, easy to use, solid metal construction, consistent transfer speed, and PC compatible. I highly recommend this product and plan to purchase more in the future.

Very sleek and functional.

Blazing fast. Sturdy metal design. It gets pretty warm when it is in use, but it is never told hot to touch. Storage capacity is very adequate for my day to day needs at 256gb. The tip comes out on it's own pretty easily when I have it attached to my keys.

My 2024 Honda Accord Hybrid does not have a CD player. I tried the Lehwey Portable Car CD Player, but it only works with some CDs. Plugging in a flash drive works, but the Honda is very fussy about the format. I had files in .WAV and .MP3 format which are supported, .OGG and .M4P (Apple) are not. If you leave unsupported files on the flash drive, you will get an error message for each and every one (no way to skip this check). The flash drive must be partitioned with Master Boot Record (MBR) and the partition needs to be FAT32. The Ultra Luxe comes formatted correctly right from the factory (see picture). The Android software on the car will create a bunch of directories when you plug in the flash drive the first time. If there are too many audio files on the flash drive, it will take forever to connect (see picture of the error message). With 1200 files, it took about two minutes to connect to the flash drive. With 230 files, it took less than five seconds. Really? It is clear Google implemented a bubble sort, what a bunch of amateurs. So, 99% of the flash drive goes unused, but at least I can listen to my tunes again. The files should be organized by Band in the top level folder, the Album name at the 2nd-level folder under the band and the audio files at the third level. Compilation albums don't get combined (amateurs!), so I made a folder at the top level called "Compilations" and combined the artists there. I added the band name to the audio file name (see picture). The Music Library display uses different data than the display when playing (see picture). Now that I have discovered these secrets, I can cruise along listening to Underdog and Spiderman theme songs! You can see the Ultra Luxe at the bottom of the picture in the audio USB slot.

I purchased several smaller drives, however this one is by far the best. I am able to travel with it, there is no small top I have to keep up with, as this device is retractable. I use this for all of my photo and videos. I recommend this drive, I have had no issues.

I have a lot of media, but these modern phones don't have a lot of storage. I bought this thumb drive and it was totally the right thing to do. All my music and audiobooks can go with me now and I don't need cloud storage to do it. Highly recommend!

Goed werkende, snelle USB stick in tegenstelling tot de vorige (ander merk), die ik mocht retourneren. Het schuifmechanisme werkt weinig soepel en had er voor mij helemaal niet op hoeven te zitten. Het stickje alléén zou minder ver uitsteken, wat voor in mijn auto beter was uitgekomen.

Ich nutze das SanDisk Ultra Luxe USB-Type-C-Laufwerk hauptsächlich, um meine Fotos zwischen meinem MacBook und iPhone zu übertragen und zu speichern. Ich habe den Stick mit APFS formatiert, was perfekt funktioniert und mir schnellen Zugriff auf meine Dateien ermöglicht. Die Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit ist wirklich beeindruckend – mit bis zu 400 MB/s geht das Kopieren und Öffnen von großen Fotoordnern sehr flott, was im Alltag extrem praktisch ist. Das robuste Metallgehäuse fühlt sich hochwertig an und der einziehbare USB-C-Anschluss schützt den Stick gut vor Verschleiß. Besonders schätze ich auch die kleine Öse, mit der ich den Stick bequem am Schlüsselbund befestigen kann – so habe ich ihn immer griffbereit, ohne Angst zu haben, ihn zu verlieren. Die zusätzliche Datenverschlüsselung sorgt für ein gutes Gefühl, dass meine wichtigen Dateien sicher sind. Insgesamt bin ich super zufrieden, vor allem für Apple-Nutzer ist dieses Laufwerk eine sehr gute Wahl.
