Pearson's Mint Patties | Made with Decadent Dark Chocolate and Real Peppermint | 64 Oz Jar | Individually Wrapped

These are delicious but I foolishly order them in the hottest week on record and the shipper did nothing to keep them from melting. I found that rather disappointing!

I bought Pearson's mint patties on a fluke and ended up a convert. The peppermint taste is true and strong but not hard or crumbly. The dark chocolate coating is heaven. Perfectly balanced and a great treat. Bought the canister to keep in my home theatre but these candies can be found in local stores as well. If you're a fan of York's but not so pleased with the taste or texture anymore, I can't recommend these enough.

Love Pearson's mints. They have a great flavor and smaller size so they make a great snack. The large container means you have a lot on hand when you get a sweet craving. I reordered this product at the end of April 2015 and it was pretty bad. The candy was either VERY old or had been exposed to heat. The chocolate coating was both the normal dark color and was also the light color of cocoa -means the oils in the chocolate had evaporated or melted out. The candy was very dry. I was very disappointed because this is normally an wonderful product. Usually tastes as good as York patties but much cheaper.

These are just the best mint patties. Hard to find in stores anymore. I ordered while still cool, but just about every other one was smashed and kind of melted looking. All in one jar is a little heavy for them, but they taste great!

Delicious peppermint and dark chocolate! Peppermint has a nice bold flavor and the chocolate is not too thick. I like to keep them in the freezer :-)

Just don't order when it's hot outside. Mine were melted in the packaging. They tasted fine but were a pain to get out of the wrappers. I'll order in cooler weather...next time
