I have been switching away from using plastic, and had been using plastic lids for my wide mouth mason jars that make up my pantry storage. These lids are much better than the plastic ones, because they have gaskets that make the jars leak proof. There was a bit of a learning curve to get the gaskets to fit in the lids, and my husband finds the lids more difficult to screw on. I have had no problem with getting them on. They are also easy to clean; the gaskets should be removed and washed separately. The lids are very sturdy and good quality.

I use mason jars for almost everything. I've used plastic lids with a variety of inserts to keep them leak-proof over the years. Many inserts were either almost impossible to get in and out or didn't do the job. These lids are very sturdy and the inserts are extremely easy to get in and out. I can throw a jar of soup in my work bag and not have it leak all over. Everything is easy to clean, either by hand or in the dishwasher.

I bought these lids to replace the (worn out from use) plastic lids that came with my County Line Kitchen cold brewing kits. They fit properly with the cold brew strainer, which I'm EXTREMELY THANKFUL for. I wish I could have spent less money and only bought two at a time, though - I don't have a reason for eight of these when I'm only using them for cold brewing coffee...

I’ve had these lids for 4 years, and they look brand new. No rust, no issues, no dents. I tried two other brands of one-piece lids (highly rated, too) and they have all rusted in less time. Not these lids. I don’t have a problem with the separate silicone seals. Take them out if you don’t want to use them, and you have the same lids as other brands, which come with none and don’t seal as tightly. But I use the seals with anything I want to keep tightly sealed, or airtight and I have no problem using them, with or without the seals. Visually, I don’t like the name brand on the top, that’s my only complaint.

There's nothing worse than rusty lids for the mason jars and boy do they get rusty quick! So glad I found these. I didn't necessarily need canning lids since I don't can but I use my mason jars for storage of liquids and pickling so these came in handy. They're well made, sturdy and since they're stainless steel, they shouldn't rust. My only request is that I wish the seller would sell a combo package of both wide mouth and regular mouth lids so I don't have to make 2 separate purchases just for a few jars that I use at any given time.

The first ones were stolen, but Country Time customer service was terrific. I use mason jars for my lunches, and these jars have worked handily and excellently. If I carry something juicy, NO leaks! I have several types of lids for my canning jars, but these are the most handy!

I am not as impressed with these lids as I had hoped to be. Sure they're made of stainless steel - food grade - Great! But the silicone inserts are as big a pain as the original lids of the canning jars. It's a false claim that the seal never comes off or sticks to the lid. I'm using them but have to pay attention that the seal is in place or doesn't fall out when taking the lid off. Call me annoyed.

Judging by the reviews, it seems like "your mileage may vary" but the lids I received are great! None of the seals fall out when screwing them on, but I am able to easily pull them out to let the lids dry or whatever. They seem to create a great seal and it's been at least a couple years since I bought them and still no rust! I only wish this brand offered *regular* mason jar lids like this (not wide-mouth)
