Good product
A little bit of a mess when shaking to spread contents, very powdery. Once placed where you want them, they work well. Had a lot of rain lately, and when they swell up, they work fine.

Disappointment
I purchased these barriers in anticipation of potential flooding, which unfortunately occurred yesterday. I was quite disappointed with their performance, as only about a quarter of the barriers effectively prevented water ingress. I had to use six barriers to adequately cover my back-office door, and despite this, flooding still occurred. In my experience, the barriers did not expand to their full capacity as advertised, and as a result, I cannot recommend them for their intended purpose.

These actually work
I wasn't so sure about this product but once received I wanted to test them out. First thing to know is pay attention to the instructions. These activate after a certain amount of water is absorbed so don't just throw them down and expect it to work. Once instructions were followed these worked perfectly and kept the rain out of my basement. Definitely a great buy and great value I purchased the pack of 12

Worked Great
The berm of our driveway was damaged and the water during a rainstorm would flood my property. We used these as a temporary berm and they worked great! We ran over one on accident and it burst, so don’t run over em. Lol

Water barrier
These did help with the water situation when a storm came and flooded my entire yard. I was surprised the filler inside doesn’t go across the entire piece. So you can really only use part of the barrier. It took days and days to dry. I don’t think they ever completely dried. Some did.

Works very well
I have had a perpetually wet basement for 20 years. I wish Ikd known about these sooner. Problem solved! You do have to shake around the beads inside until they’re evenly distributed.

Fall advertising….
If I had ordered these because I live in a flood zone, I would be so angry at being deceived. However, I only needed it to keep carpeting dry while I was spraying water at an adjacent area and they do work well enough for that, but they literally say that these are 3 1/2 inches high when they are filled to capacity and that is a lie. They are barely 1 inch high. If you wanted to get 3 1/2 inches out of them, you would definitely have to stack them on top of one another. The picture of them protecting a garage, making it look like they are at least 8 inches tall, is fiction. because of the default picture for this product, I expected gel BEADS, not gel powder, and distributing that powder before they got wet, as the instructions told me to do, did nothing except for get some of the powder to come out of the pouch. The envelope is floppy and there is not very much powder inside. It is impossible to distribute it evenly before getting it wet. What am I going to do with this? Well, I could put one under my kitchen sink because I do get water there once in a while and it would probably be good for an area under an outdoor stairwell for the same problem. It seems to also be recommended for water retention in soil, so I could add some of that to my planting mix. I’m very unhappy with this product because of the deceitful marketing and intend to attempt to get my money back although I have gotten one of them wet.
