I have a sliding glass door between the kitchen and sun room. The bottom of the door is at the same level of the floors on either side, and people were tripping on the raised threshold. These strips are perfect for me. The rubber is easily cut to make the strips the correct length, and the height is perfect for the lip to sit on top of the door threshold. I put one in the kitchen and one in the sun room, and no one trips anymore. Obviously, the door has to be open to use the strips, so we remove them when not needed.

My doorway had a gap in the concrete so I cut this thing to size to fill the entire space so it didn't look awkward and it filled out the entire entrance concrete and covered the gap so no bugs would come in. I will say it did pose a challenge to cut through the hard plastic. But without a spacing issue I'm happy!

Great product! Served us well to make a slanted threshold in the doorway. Looks nice, too.

I have two floors with 1 1/4 inch difference in elevation and normal floor transition strips can't bridge such a height difference. This one works perfectly.
