Good quality product. What I like about it the best is the "push button" to remove the lid

This product is described as air tight fermenting buckets!!! Useless, cause they Do Not seal!!! Therefore these are not fermenting buckets!!!! Very cheap made, I am so disappointed with this product!!!!!!

These buckets are cheap. They do not securely seal. I had 2 batches of peppers fermenting and after a few weeks I noticed a stronger smell and the lids popped open on one end. Filled with mold after a full seasons worth of work. Do not buy these they are garbage. Better off going to a home brew store and getting better buckets and lids that actually seal and won't pop off. These were so thin I was hesitant to even use them and I guess I paid the price. Do not buy these for fermenting.

The seal with the lid to the bucket is garbage. Makes it impossible to see if there is fermentation taking place inside. The seal from the lid to the air lock is good, but none of that matters as all gas leaks out the lid to bucket seal. If you can't see thru the vessel to check on fermentation I look at the air lock to check progress. Without a proper seal I have no idea what is going on inside. These buckets will be repurposed for chicken waterers in the winter months. Buy something else!

The lids are no where near airtight. There should be a gasket under the lid that would create a seal. It’s been 3 days since I started this batch and it’s active inside, but leaking out under the lid and no airlock activity.

It's a fermenting bucket. To put it plainly, it does it's job. In combination with an airlock it keeps the bugs out...... HOWEVER, it is not air-tight (not the most important, IF you use it ONLY as a primary fermenting vessel). The lid allows air to leak out a long the rim. It is also super tough to remove my airlocks from its rubber gasket. It's almost as if the gasket shrunk around my airlocks. So far I have not been able to remove my airlocks without them snapping and breaking. I'll be looking for a higher quality fermenting bucket in the future. Not purchasing this product again. Now I have to spend more hard earned money to buy ANOTHER bucket AND airlocks. In my experience it was a BAD investment.

These buckets are on the thinner end and not what I was expecting. I intended to use these for fermenting, however I wish the little vent hole on the lid could be closed if you wanted the option due to bugs getting in, etc. I’m going to use these for reclaiming my pottery clay. For the price, they are not the quality that I was expecting.
