Burns out from UK Outlets.
Broke immediately. It's the US version, so not rated for use with our 50Hz 240V standard outlets. My assumption is the thermal cutoff was immediately burnt out. I hear this is a great fan in the US, I just don't understand why it's being sold here totally unaltered.

Fan stopped working in the first 30 minutes
I had bought a zippi fan 3 years ago and it was excellent. This one looked quite different and was very noisy. It stopped working completely in the first 30 minutes. Came with US plug

Doesn't work, can't return.
Bought 2, neither worked when they arrived. Tried to return, but refused to supply commercial invoice for international return, so stuck with two dead fans.

This fan is not a powerhouse, but I have it close and it does a fine job of moving air around and it is helping me turn my AC off. I love the design and it looks and feels high quality and durable. It is quiet and the blades are made of cloth. It’s quiet and stays cool to the touch. The blades will not hurt when you touch them. When I saw no cord in every picture I asked Rufus AI if it had a cord and if not what powers it? Rufus told me it has no cord and didn’t know what powers it. I had already purchased it and was getting ready to send it back after it arrived. It has a cord. I asked Rufus again after I received it and Rufus was updated. I was asked if I noticed that Rufus the ai had learned. Rufus almost caused me to cancel the order with bad information.

This actually puts out a good breeze for its size! My cheapskate boss won't turn on the A/C in our office except during the hottest weeks of summer, so for several months out of the year it's stuffy and uncomfortably warm. This little champ was a lifesaver. I'd tried a couple of other small desk fans, but the airflow was too anemic to be very useful. The Zippi however provides much-appreciated relief on warm afternoons. I was skeptical about the cloth blades, but they're actually quite effective, and the fan truly is extremely quiet. While maybe not "whisper quiet," it just makes a soft blowing sound that isn't distracting or unpleasant in any way. It actually provides some gentle white noise. The metal tube base with rubber rings absorbs vibration quite well, and has the added benefit of allowing the fan to be hung upside down on a hook, for those who have desks with wooden hutches. The unit as a whole has a very solid feel, and looks stylish and more expensive than it is. If there's any downside to this fan, it's that it's too easy for your hand or objects to come in contact with the cloth blades. While it's completely harmless, it does make a loud farting sound that might raise eyebrows in adjacent cubicles. I can highly recommend this inexpensive but top notch personal fan. It's provided me with two years of flawless cooling while also preventing me from going postal on my cheapskate boss.

Exceeded expectations, really generates some air for a desktop fan and the soft nylon 'blades' make this ideal for a kids room. Cute colour options too. I have it in front of my open patio door in my apartment and I'm getting a nice breeze a few feet away. It's still a desktop fan and isn't going to cool a whole apartment but it makes a very comfortable zone to sit in. Highly recommend. I've gotten other Vornado fans and am always pleased with the brand.

I purchased this fan for the sole reason of having a QUIET fan for the office I work in. I did a lot of searching, I bought several small fans at local stores that seemed quiet enough in the retail store, but once in the environment of my office I became aware of all the sound they would make. After reading numerous good reviews here, and a few token bad ones that mostly consisted of "fan broke, got refund but buyer beware anyway" I decided to give this a shot. PROS: - Super quiet on low setting. Several commented how they accidentally left it on because it was so quiet. I figured this was hyperbole. I was wrong. On the low setting, I seriously cannot hear it running in any ambient noise at all. - Moves a decent amount of air. This isn't designed as a room fan, so don't expect it to keep your living room feeling cool or moving a whole room of air, but on a desk within a few feet, it provides a nice breeze. Kick it up to the second setting, and there is some noise, but the breeze goes up nicely. - The body is an all-metal construction, giving it a very solid feel and weight. - The cloth blades are perfect for me, no risk of hurting myself and they still move air nicely. - Price. I've spent less on all-plastic housed fans, but they tend to die quickly and be noisy. It's hard to explain the quality of this product until you hold it in hand, but it just feels like a premium product. Other fans of similar feeling quality sell for much more in the stores I've been to. CONS - I wish there was a power setting on the wire or some method where I didn't have to reach behind it to turn it on and off. This is a pretty minor complaint. - The motor and housing was a touch bigger than I first expected, even after looking at the user-submitted images. It's still small, just larger than I figured. I am purposefully stretching to find any cons to this product. I've only owned it a few days, but I have left it on for hours now, with no signs of anything wrong with the motor or cloth blades. Based on the negative reviews here, it appears that the parent company is good at issuing refunds or replacements if you get a faulty product, but I can't say myself yet as I've had no issues. Bottom line, if you need a truly quiet fan for an office environment, this is an excellent choice for the money.

I enjoy my fan. However the body is heavy and does not sit well on my desk at work. I had to bring it home and use it around the house. Works well if you are in the "hot flash" days of your lives.
