The flavor is so good and subtle. Only thing is I add extra salt to meet my taste. Whoever likes dindigul biryani with subtle flavors without too much aromatic spices will definitely love this. The kit was well packed and the quantity is enjoyable for 3. The rice provided in the pack was of good quality. I find it worth my penny and time.

We tried the Dindigul Biriyani mix and followed the instructions closely. It came out really well. The rice was of good quality and went very well with the gravy mix which was given. They perfectly cooked together. An additional tip is to keep the Biriyani closed for atleast an hour in the cooker after spreading the oil mix (the last step as per Cookd). It helped the spices to blend well and the Biriyani was perfect. Thank you Cookd ❤

Lots of wow reviews here, they might have liked it but we didn't. Followed instructions 100%. It was more a pulav than biriyani with no biriyani flavours. Rice endedup very sticky and oily. Tasted like some flavoured chicken rice. Serves 3 light eaters Extremely simple and easy to cook but what's the point? For the price we spent on this pack, chicken etc I would have cooked a wonderful biriyani for four people, seriously ... If you are a biriyani lover and/or can cook biriyani at home, you should stay away

Delicious! It mimics the EXACT same taste as the Dindigul Biryani I used to have while I was in Tamizh Nadu. I had been missing Tamizh cuisine and this did not fail to impress. I followed the other instructions on the pack but I did not use a pressure cooker. Instead, I cooked in a Kadhai, which obviously took longer to cook the seeraga rice. But it turned out well. One pack can easily serve 2 to 3 people.

Even though an avid biriyani lover, doing it at home was a pain with several factors like how long should the meat cook, how long should the rice be soaked etc etc. This kit manages these drawbacks with ease. If cooked according to the simple instructions mentioned in the kit. The biriyani comes out great, all our family members loved it. The kit is slightly expensive. Going to try other varieties now.
