Buy HVAC Bible for Beginners: A Comprehensive Guide to Mastering HVAC Technology. Repairing and Installing Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Systems for Residential and Commercial Buildings by Thompson, David (ISBN: 9798862286274) from desertcart's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Unreadable and poor content - The content of this book was very weak compared to all the other HVAC texts I’ve bought, and too much of the content is ‘chatty’ anecdotes from the author that add nothing to understanding of the technical topics (eg “Somebody bring me a box of tissues because I am on e [sic] who is not too fond of endings”). It even concludes “So as we say goodbye …don’t hesitate to call in a professional”. This book is ok value and has good technical information for beginners, as it says in the title (not a guide for installation). Most of all, it is NOT AS SHOWN (in colour in Read Sample) but printed in black and white on cheap, thin paper. This makes so much of this book UNREADABLE in places, especially the diagram. For a technical book there were too few diagrams (mostly text) but the few diagrams included made it hard to understand the more technical aspects (see photo). It’s so poor it feels like a FAKE copy rather than from the authorised printers - this is now one of several HVAC books bought here on desertcart that have been exactly the same (I’ve bought plumbing text books and they are fine, it’s just the HVAC books where there has been a problem). Overall, very little merit to recommend anything about this book compared to other HVAC texts. Sending this back. Review: I was very happy with the purchase of this book and I didn't expect it. In particular, the book is really well done and well structured, writing with a language useful for understanding what is written. The book offers detailed knowledge in the world of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. There are also clear and accessible explanations, covering a wide range of topics, from the latest technologies to the practical aspects of installation and maintenance. I recommend reading this book in particular to those who work in the sector, but also to those who are simply interested in the world.

I had to stop reading. There are mistakes, contradictory statements, typos, confusing sentences and duplicates everywhere. Unclear, awful.

My house is 100 years old and is getting some serious updating. This book is helping with complex questions and simple repairs to start. It's great to maintain later too!

Interesting guide to carry out at best any kind of operation on refrigeration systems whether these are of domestic or business type the book in fact suggests what are the difficulties that are often encountered in the installation and in the choice of components to be replaced in case of error or malfunction of some machine. There is one thing to remember that for this type of installations and operations in Italy it is necessary to have a license f GAS this is not necessary instead in the United States of America but it would still be important to carry out first a course to better deal with all the dynamics that concern the installation but not tention and assistance on these products point The book is very precise and meticulous in its explanations and I feel I recommend it
