This is simply a wonderful (and for me) a neccessary gadget. I cycle on average two X 20 mile journeys every week-end, and, although I have a rubber mounted gel saddle, I find that worn, damaged, and washed away tow paths can be a harrowing experience, especially when accompanied with strategically placed tree roots. I wanted something a little more robust than the simple sprung seat post, and I am really happy that I found this product. I was not expecting too much after reading some of the reviews, but I have found this to be so, So, SO much better than described by some. It is very sturdy, and, perhaps, I may be the ideal weight for it [12 stone 8 lbs], for I just removed it from its bag and fixed it into my bicycle expecting to manipulated the settings, but...BUT it seems to be perfect for me. I was a little worried that, because of the mechanism's length, that my seat may sit a little too high, but because the spring mechanism drops about half an inch when you sit upon it, the saddle height became perfect. For me, I can not fault what I bought, and as mentioned above, it IS better than I was expecting. Very happy with my purchase, worth the money; and it arrived quickly too.

I have heavily customized my e-bike but this is hands down the single best upgrade. It is so comfortable that it brings previously ‘forbidden’ terrains, right in to the palm of your hand. It will transform your riding experience to include more adventures than before. I already have rear suspension in my bike but Suntour’s product will give you another dimension to comfort entirely. Whether you have rear suspension or not, this seat post is a must. What I like is this product is all about keeping you comfy rather than the bike. And it does that better than most products out there. The build quality tells you it’s German and will in all likelihood last a long time. I love to ride my bike just to enjoy the comfort rather than worry about where I am going. I seek out potholes and bumps just to enjoy the seat post!

The price of this "thudbuster" like bicycle seatpost is very competitive. It is easy to adjust the stiffness of the "spring" mechanism to suit your weight using a screw accessed from inside the bottom of the setapost tube. I made a mistake when I first attached the saddle (I attached it back to front). This is because I was distracted by the slightly fiddly bracket that attaches the seatpost to the saddle. It has a left and right side, each with its own clamp where you need to get the angle and the relative position of the saddle on the seatpost (backwards or forwards) correct before tightening. But when fitted this thing is amazing. I was getting fed up with some of the crashing bumps I hit on some of our British roads. This really protects my rear and spine from harsh jolts. Why did I not get one years ago? Recommended.

This suspension post is excellent. It no longer has brass bushings - they are stainless steel and I def have the newer version. I believe it will be just as good and probably exactly the same. At £75 ish it’s actually at the low end of price for one of these and it’s worth every penny. I also have an eesilk but that’s for my road bike. This bad boy is big and heavy and if you ask me is ideally suited to an E-bike hard tail, steel framed city, or anything where an extra kilo doesn’t matter. Really works, very happy.

Having not ridden a bike for about 10 years my 1st ebike ride left me in a fair bit of pain with a bit of a bruised rear. I think the combination of not riding for so long and sitting down for most of the ride which lasted about an hour on my ebike meant I felt every bump as I travelled. Every ride after this was very painful until my friend told me theses existed. I ordered one the same day and received it the next. The whole process of fitting it took about 20 minutes with swapping the saddle being the longest part. Fine tuning the preload was very simple and took a few small rides to get it just right for small and large bumps. I left riding my bike for about 2 weeks till the pain had gone and gave this a proper test ride for about 1hour 30 mins and the ride comfort was excellent. The seat post had removed all the bumps which had lead to the pain previously and made riding the bike enjoyable again. I now try to get out everyday weather permitting that is. I would highly recommend this product and would put it on any hardtail bike I rode again.

I got this to cope with rural roads and a bit of cross country riding on an On-One Bootzipper, which is a great bike, but doesn't have any suspension. The seat post makes Cumbrian potholes and fells a lot easier to manage. I'd previously tried one of the cheaper suspension seat post versions, which are essentially just a spring in a tube, and they do work quite well too, but this is next level.

Read a lot of reviews before buying this and took a gamble because it seems maybe this design has some flaws with people suggesting it's a bit bouncy, robbing pedal power etc. Well I have installed this on my Haibike Trekking ebike and my only complaint (which isn't really an issue on this bike) is it's a bit heavy. But it has literally transformed the ride quality of the bike, works exactly as I expected. With the right preload and I weigh about 79kg there is no bouncing and just feels totally natural to ride. Well worth it.

Easy to fit - just get your interior bike seat post tube measurements exactly right. Works very well and bumps much smoother now - riding rough surfaces is very much more comfortable now

Muy buen sistema de suspensión esta de SR suntour de paralelogramo.Es muy efectiva y fácil de regular por peso de carga.Yo pesando 65 kg me funciona genial.Va muy suave con el muelle que incluye.Si tu peso es mayor de 90 kg tendrás que añadir el otro muelle de intercambio que se comercializa para esos casos que es mas duro, para que no quede anulado el recorrido de amortiguación por peso excesivo, quedando comprimido en exceso el muelle.Muy contento con este sistema, más efectivo que el clásico de un solo pistón interior de las más baratas.Su precio superior compensa su función y efectividad.Si tienes problemas de espalda y buscas reducirlos en el uso diario de la bicicleta, creo esta es tu solución junto con un manillar que te corrija la postura a una posición más recta sentado en el sillín.
