Great for all forms of pull-ups, even for tall guys
I bought this to replace a cheaper, more basic pull-up bar. For starters, this was very easy to assemble. I bought it 'used - like new' and it arrived with everything packaged in the box, with all tools and fittings. It had previously been assembled but was otherwise in good condition. The bar has three separate grips for pull-ups, a close chin-up grip, parallel hammer grips, and an angled wide-grip. Each grip has nice soft foam padding, approx 1.5-2" in diameter. The lever-style design of this bar means the grips are around 8" from the door frame, and are raised up to the height of the top of the door frame, increasing clearance from the ground and making dead-hang pull-ups viable even if you are tall (I'm 6' 3" and it works for me, I just have to bend my knees behind or use a bent-knee L-sit position). The wide grip is also far enough away from the door frame that you can do pull-ups without your elbows hitting the frame - a problem I had with my previous bar. All around, this is great quality for a great price and is very useful for training pull-ups at home.

Made the right choice with this one!
At first I was a bit annoyed that the bars came with little scratches in numerous places. Made me think it's been assembled before and returned so I wasn't very happy. After assembling it though it was very sturdy and does the job perfectly. I've padded the bar that goes against the door frame with towels just to ensure it doesn't damage the door and I've had no issues after 4 uses. Feels stable too so I'm not at all worried about it falling while I'm using it. Overall I'm really happy and think it's excellent for the price (about £23 when I bought it). I had been looking at numerous others for £50-£60 but I'm so glad I got this one in the end. Does everything I need it to do. Also I love the different angles/directions of the bars to do the pull ups on as it gives you even more variety in the exercises you can do (something I didn't realise was important before buying it). Would definitely recommend for someone like myself looking to buy their first pull up bar!

LOCKDOWN? NO PROBLEM: YOUR BACK KEEPS TRAINED ANYWAY!!!
Would you like to keep fit, even if you’ve no time enough to frequent a gym? Do you work a lot, so…not allowed to do sports during the week? Are you seeking something simple to use? Behold the remedy, guys: this piece of equipment, which I purchased during the lockdown (imposed by Government decree, due to the breakout of Covid pandemics), is the one for you. Because of the widespread of Covid, going to the gym was impossible (or even better taboo), so I had no choice but to train at home: I work as a personal trainer, therefore it’s a must for me to keep up with practice, also because many clients of mine continued to attend my courses or classes remotely and in my house. Previously I purchased: resistance bands, an adjustable bench and dumbbells; however, I found quite difficult to do the same exercises as I would do at the gym. The weight of my dumbbells didn’t go over 20 kg, therefore even with many strategies and technics was materially impossible, with such a low weight, to keep the muscles up properly. I remained astonished to find on Amazon an Adidas product at a very low price, during the first lockdown, so for this reason, I didn’t minimally hesitate to buy it. The product is easy to assemble and easily adaptable to the skirting board of my door(This tool is made purposely for this kind of flush skirting board - which is part of the wall, able to bear your whole weight). I could finally train my back in a huge variety of positions: neutral grip, pulling up and reverse; also If you place it on the floor, it could be useful for push up and dips. The only inconvenience can be identified in the sponge covering - which helps the product to stick to the wall - got broken after dozen of uses; nevertheless, this doesn’t prevent you to use the product in question. In my opinion, I would have chosen a different fabric, made of a more resistant material, by the way, I’m overall satisfied with this product: despite the above-mentioned inconvenience, I have had it for more than two years. I strongly recommend purchasing it for customers intentioned to spend little and use a high-quality tool fro their workouts.

Fantastic, sturdy door gym at a good price
Very easy to put together, but please pay attention to the fact there are two different lengths of screw and you must use them in the correct places! I've seen countless reviews of this product claiming it's not sturdy because they've completely messed up putting it together. Similarly, please check your doorframes and make sure you have the correct width and size that's suitable for this door gym. Adidas have provided the relevant dimensions and are also active at answering questions about suitable doorframe sizes so be sure to read all the questions/answers! I'm around 100kg weight and I've felt perfectly supported and comfortable using this. The additional grips make this far more useful than other door gyms as far as I'm concerned. If you dont want it living above your door the only problem is where to store the thing - it's pretty big!

Screws are not holding
Screws are poor quality. On one of them (see photo) is impossible to put the nut therefore the bar is dangerous to use. All good if you change the screws where needed - what I did - but that means extra spending/time etc. Overall quality is good though

Can't get better for the price
Really good at this time when I can't go out to workout. Easy to put together, everything you need is in the box, took less than 10 mins. Easily takes my weight, 85+kg. I like that it's got different grips, wide, narrow or parallel grips. It extends out from the door so you can do a pull pull up without the door frame getting in the way. As you can see I have a glass window above the door, and it's fine. The door frame is solid though, the weight from me hanging on it can take it. I tried it on a different door, where the frame was attached seperately from the main door frame and that would have snapped off eventually, so pick a solid door frame! Other people have mentioned it making a dent or marks on the door. This is true, after a few sets I did get an indent in the frame. To combat this I placed a small cloth under each end where the bar can come in contact, this stopped the problem and makes no difference to the function. For the price you can't get better in my opinion. Also it said it was out of stock when I ordered it, and delivery in 1 month, so I bought it anyway. It turned up less than a week later!

Incorrectly manufactured. Can't assemble because holes were not threaded. Bad quality control
I bought the bar because it also had angled handles for better lat activation even though it was more expensive by a few euro than a standard bar and took longer to arrive. Not a problem I thought. Then it arrived and I couldn't assemble it! As you can see by my pictures the first horizontal bar assembled perfectly fine but the second bar with the angled handles would not. I'm a manufacturing engineer and I can tell that the manufacturing process was incomplete. After they hole punched the holes they left behind the material attached and then they never threaded the holes so the screw would assemble with them as you can see by my pictures. Now I could go through the effort of measuring the hole and then going and buying a correctly sized diameter pin and insert it to prevent rotation and movement in the horizontal direction but a 110kg man doing pullups might dislodge it. The point is this should have come ready to assemble. There should have been quality control points in this process to prevent this. Perhaps think about switching to a spring loaded pin mechanism which common is other pullup bars if you cant get this process down correctly, which you should be able to. Stay away. Extra Cost. Extra Shipping time. Poor Quality. Unusable.

Fits door frame well
Fits door frame well ( although specifications didnt completely match door frame specifications provided with product). When using it, i feel like the product itself feels quite weak... when assembling the screws didnt fit through well so the screws holding the two rods at a cross is not clamped tight as the hole was a bit tight for one of the screws to go through. Otherwise, good pull up bar. little wear and tear from the assembly and upon arrival, but i hope it wont break. (I weigh about 60kg).
