So far so good. Fit for me is spot on and comfortable. Excellent flip function so much better than my Roof Desmo. The visors clip into place really well and feel secure. Has plenty of room for your chin with the chin guard flipped closed. The Desmo was useless for that. So in my opinion save yourself a £170 and get one of these instead of the Roof.

Looks great. Decent quality. I ordered a small. Its a little bit tight but thats because its new. I've been looking for a full flip helmet and this doesn't disappoint! Great communication with the seller as delivery wasnt next day. But it's not the sellers fault. Might be because of the area maybe. Five stars from me!

Fab Lid, fits great looks Fab.

I've been using this helmet for all seasons for the last year now. The overall quality of construction is pretty good, and it all functions exactly as you'd expect. I bought an intercom system with the large speakers and it fits into the provided spaces with ease. The open flip front function has been great, and the sun visor is decent. The reasons ive rated this 3 stars are, it mists up quite quickly and easily on cold days, I find myself having to lift the visor a lot as soon as I stop moving. I looked into installing a Pinlock, but due to the fact the visor curves on two planes instead of one like most helmets it just isn't possible to fit a pinlock. Also the wind noise is pretty bad at speeds above 50mph, but some cheap motorcycle earplugs resolved this. My only other criticism is you have to lift your main visor to access the sun visor, there is no external control for it like you find on some other helmets.

Bought this because it looked compact and as a female rider some motorcycle helmets can be too bulky/ heavy for me. The F242 doesn't disappoint, it's lightweight with good visibility and it looks great. Size (M) was perfect for 57cm head circumference and I love the comfort of the over ear padding inside. The flip front, ratchet chin strap and built in sun visor make it practical too. The only down side as I see them, are the lack of adjustable ventilation options on the front and top of the helmet and without a pinlock it's prone to fogging up. You can buy after market anti fog inserts for £15-25 or spray for under £10, but it would have been nice to have this covered as standard. The locating pins for the flip front are a bit thin/flimsy too (comparing to my old HJC helmet), so it needs a good push down to shut securely. Otherwise I am very happy with the purchase and would happily pay a little more for better ventilation and or a pinlock visor.

After riding some 1800 miles in a fortnight, I found the helmet padding had become loose and it’s was so noisy due to the excessive amount of wind that gets scooped in by the spacious void within the front of the helmet. “ poorly designed and lacking quality in every way. Looks fantastic! In hindsight I will look closer before I buy again. Complete waste of money and no way of a refund once you remove attached labels, which in effect is ridiculous as you have to wear it on the bike in order to test the product. “ don’t buy this product or you will regret it the purchase as I have done “

Der Helm ist Solide, sieht gut aus und kommt fast an das Vorbild von Roof ran. Leider steckt der Teufel im Detail. Beim Klarsicht Visier ist der Punkt zum Anfassen zwecks Bedienung oben in der Mitte des Visiers angebracht, sehr ungünstig wenn man es mit Handschuhen bedienen will. Noch schlimmer wird es mit der Sonnenblende. Dafür wurde keine Bedienung von außen vorgesehen. Zwar ist hier der Anfass Punkt links seitlich, aber das geht nur wenn das Visier oben ist. Sowas nenne ich einen Konstruktionsfehler da ich schon Helme für unter 100€ gesehen habe die das von außen bei geschlossenem Visier können. Aus dem Grund gibt es auch nur 3 Punkte. Wer mit den Mängeln leben kann bekommt allerdings einen echt schicken Helm, ich werde mich wohl arrangieren und ihn als Ersatz für meinen Caberg behalten.
