Used this bag on my 6 week backpacking trip to Central America. Great quality bag and the removable backpack was by far the best feature. This meant I could leave my big bag at the hostel and take out the smaller bag during the day. It weighed in at around 10kg with all my clothes etc and the padded straps made it feel lighter than it was. I ended up using the side handle to carry it around most of the time which was convenient. The waterproof cover was also a necessity. All in all I would highly recommend

This bag lasted for 5 months hauling around Asia. Worked very well. Small removable ruck sack was great. Could do another trip so I need to start saving .

bag is great, and will be perfect for my upcoming trip. the bag is supossed to sold with a raincover and carry strap as advetised and offered on both amazon shop and website. unfortunatley in my case it was not delivered.

I returned this. I didn't like the zips on this rucksack. Zips are crucial because once they go, the rucksack is useless. The zips on this were snagging a bit, even brand new; they didn't feel like they would last long. The shoulder and hip padding wasn't very substantial and would be uncomfortable if worn for long periods of time. Also the zip didn't run all the way for the full length of the rucksack, so it couldn't be fully opened like a suitcase. It's a cheap rucksack, but I spent a bit more on a better one.
