Tech Swiss TS5851BRN Leather Watch Box Extra Large Watch Case

When my watch collection got to the point it needed some kind of order I bought a wood watch case made by Tech Swiss here on Amazon----Probably what every body that shops here on Amazon does----It held about twenty watches, had a glass/plastic window in the top, and a drawer that was kind of worthless, and was more of a display box, a piece of furniture, than any thing else---It was worth what I paid for it but wasn't what I really needed for easy manuverable safe keeping of my watches---I couldn't really move it around as it is made of wood with a nice finish and had to be taken care of to not get scratched and all, and if I took off for a few days I couldn't really man handle it and throw it under the bed or stash it easily some where with out worrying about hurting or scratching it-----Then I saw this leather watch case----Problem solved---This case is perfect, made of stiff material and covered with stiff leather with a full length piano hindge---Inside is all padded and the zipper is big and easy to use, doesnt bind up when opening or closing and the two zipper pulls are the biggest I've ever seen and made of metal---With the padded lid zippered shut the watches are held in place and you could spin this case around in the air and the watches would stay right where you put them----Toss it behind the couch, behind the fridge, stuff it in the hamper, you get my drift-----Piano hindge on back is covered end to end with an extra leather piece stitched in white and the whole case is just tough and doesn't have to be treated in a delicate manner---and when you want to get into it and play with your watches just pull both of the zipper pulls and there are all your watches just sitting in there looking up at you----The "pillows" have ridged sides that fit firmly securely in each slot-----It's a great way to have sixteen watches, even as big as Invicta makes them, all together in an ordered compact easy to use rugged case---You'll love it, trust me----It's not a piece of furniture but will display your collection if that's what you want, and put away in a few seconds if that's what you want----I think I'll buy another one---

The interior looks old and dirty. There is an obvious stain about one thumb size in the middle of the cover. Disappointed.

Received in timely fashion but unfortunately damaged due to very poor packaging. It's still useable and can't be bothered returning it but I was shocked at how bad this was packaged. Bubble wrap or paper and a bigger shipping box would have this delivered in new condition. As it is now, the leather has been damaged at two places, the top is bend and one of the separating compartments has already come off! It is indeed made in China (nothing wrong with that of course) and the quality is less than the price would suggest in my opinion. Not worth the asking price.

Its okay. Mine came to me in good condition. The only issue I have is that it does not feel like its of such high quality to merit the cost behind it. Especially being made in China. The mark up on this must be astronomical. There aren't though that many watch cases with handles. I have looked around. So....this was it.

Great overall case. Decent quality and the inside looks very nice. The only reason I don't give it five stars is that there is too much space between the top lid and the watches. I have VERY expensive watches in the case and I am concerned they will bump into each other and blemish the bracelets or faces of the watches. This was easily fixed though, I had some spare foam from a Pelican Case and I cut it to fit the top lid. After putting that into the lid, everything fits nice and snug.

I've had many watch cases, boxes and rolls in all sorts of materials (leather, wood, suede, pigskin, etc) and they all work for their intended purpose but they tend to be inefficient in their use of space. I needed something that was dense enough to hold a good number of watches and which I could easily transfer to my 10" x 10" x 22" safe deposit box when I travel. This leather box hits the mark as it holds 16 watches and I can stack two on top of each other for a total height of 8", leaving 2" in the SD box for other items such as paperwork. Construction of the leather box is good for the price and the watch holders are solid with a nice suede-finish surface, large enough to hold today's bigger watches. If you need a no nonsense storage product this one is worth looking at, it's excellent for the price.

This case was a Valentine's Day gift. The recipient has multiple XL sized watches that fit without any problem. This case is high quality. It is extremely padded and the leather is very nice. We were both very happy with this item. I would suggest it to anyone wanting something nice to keep their watches safe. It is also perfect size to slide under the bed to keep it hidden if needed.

Not worth the cost, appears to be cheap in my opinion.
