Millar GH7051PW Gas on Glass Hob 70cm 5 Burner White

After months of research to find a replacement for the expensive (faulty) Italian gas hob we inherited when we moved into our new home, most of the gas hobs we found had deep 'wells' under the burners which would be a nightmare to clean, and the reviews confirmed this. We were on the point of buying the same expensive Italian hob again (better the devil you know) when the Amazon 'You may also like' section suggested the Millar GH7051. We had not heard of the name but it had good reviews, came in a range of colours, with a 5-year warranty and at an excellent price so we bought it. We chose the white version. It arrived very quickly, very well packaged, and fitted neatly into the existing cut-out in our worktop. (It must be fitted by a Gas Safe fitter of course. You will need a certificate or written confirmation of this if you ever need to claim on the warranty.) We are highly delighted with our new hob! It's early days but so far I can't fault it. Here are my observations and the points we like: *Solid and stable pan supports *Not noisy. (I read reviews to the contrary. Obviously on full power you can hear the flame but from medium to low power it is silent. Certainly no noisier than any other gas hob I have ever used) *Good low flame for simmering *Double flame in central wok ring *Excellent range of ring sizes *Made in the UK by UK company *It even came with its own microfibre cloth and stain removal sponge! *Easy to clean under burners - no deep 'wells' *Excellent value for money This hob is at least as good as the one it replaced and we highly recommend it. There are no negative points at all so far.

I had been looking for a white glass gas hob for several months and could not find one in the usual stores. So having tried on line and came across this one, I hesitated at first as did not know the make. But having read the reviews on other hobs by the same make, it seemed to be all good feedback so took the chance and ordered it. I am glad I did now, delivery was very prompt within a few days, well packaged received in tact. The quality is very good, looks very smart. Fitted by a qualified gas fitter who had mentioned he had not come across these before. Used a few times now all works well and I am happy with my purchase for a very reasonable price.

Just had fitted only used for 1 week but impressed so far, only issue is cleaning says do not use washing up liquid only use biodegradable cleaners????, is this just environmental or what a bit confused 🤔

I fit around 15 kitchens a year, after recently fitting a new kitchen in my own home and after a great deal of research, I chose this Millar hob! When my family and friends pop over, they make very few comments on the new kitchen; the only thing they seem to notice is the new hob! Because of the design and materials used it is unbelievably easy to clean, great to cook on and great value for money...

I particularly wanted a white glass hob as they are easy to keep clean and looking nice. Mine was delivered quickly to my home in Spain and now it is installed I am really pleased with it. The big burner in the middle is particularly useful and will come in very handy should I need to cook a Paella indoors!

Quality item, looks fantastic well worth the money. Would suggest applying for the extra warranty straight away as company not helpful if you're a day outside of the 30 days which I found to my cost. No leway given

The glass shattered within two times of using. Not buying again.

Anyone thinking about getting it just do it. It’s really good quality and looks amazing.

Fine design, facile da montare, estremamente facile da pulire. I fuochi si accendono immediatamente e l’acqua va in bollitura in brevissimo tempo, pur non avendo le famose pentole col fondo a induzione. Da da un tocco chic alla mia cucina in stile provenzale. Il mio sogno realizzato! Azienda seria venditore serio. Grazie

Bello esteticamente, fuochi facili da pulire, vetro bianco non lascia aloni quando passi la pezza! Bel prodotto. Ho tolto una stella perché purtroppo è arrivato con un angolo scheggiato nella parte inferiore. Non mi sembrava il caso di rimandarlo indietro e l'ho tenuto così! Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo

francamente non mi aspettavo che fosse così bella. Infatti esteticamente diventa un oggetto da arredamento. L funzionalità è indiscutubule, il fuoco centrale una potenza notevole. Ottimo acquisto e sopratutto ottima qualità/prezzo ed marcata EU

Dopo tre settimane di utilizzo continuo ecco la mia opinione. Bellissimo piano cottura, facilissimo da pulire, lo sporco non si vede per nulla a meno che non ti avvicini e guardi attentamente! Lo pulisco per igiene tutte le volte che lo utilizzo ma potrei lasciarlo sporco senza che un ospite improvviso se ne accorga. Utilizzo qualsiasi prodotto, sgrassatore o ace mousse spray, aceto ecc, non fa differenza tanto si pulisce in una passata. I fuochi sono belli potenti e le pentole sulla ghisa hanno un'ottima stabilità. Lo consiglio sicuramente!
