why are these products so expensive ??? A good product and works for me. A fair price on Amazon compared to my local Chemist shop. I am now signed up to the "Subscribe" offer so will make a small saving on each future purchase sent on a monthly basis.

I don’t know what I would have done without this during my pregnancy! Instant relief and nice mint taste! Consistency is thick but I guess it has to be! Really soothes the burn quickly. Recommend

I’ve used gaviscon double action for many years. It’s a good product. For less money you can buy a product called peptac which is just as good if not better. However, as with any alginate it must be used properly and taken after a meal, or before bed, it should be the last thing to pass your lips once you stop eating and drinking as it will create a barrier at the top of your stomach.

Always have in my cupboard, very effective. Good value

Provided you DON’T go for the Aniseed flavour (you’d have to be a sadist to choose that), the mint and peppermint flavours are DELICIOUS!! Nobody likes heartburn, indigestion, or being so bloated that their food repeats on them, but having this mint Gaviscon liquid is an absolute godsend!! Drinking the silky smooth and slightly thick substance in order for it to line from your throat all the way down to your stomach is unbelievably revealing. When people run ice-cold water over a burn to get some relief, drinking Gaviscon does the same for your oesophagus!! I cannot recommend it highly enough!! 👏👏 It’s perfect:👌
