Highly pigmented nail varnish, drys quickly and it has lasted well over a week with no chipping or peeling. I have found my new favourite nail polish product! The photo is 1 week after application

I really like this Essie nail polish in Licorice, but it does have its limitations. Full disclosure, the first night I wore it, I was in a rush, and I only applied it in a single layer, with no base coat or top coat. It was very easy to apply, and the brush was good enough to do the 3 stroke application. It dried quickly, and looked good with a touch of gloss, but it chipped slightly before I even got to the venue. I removed it the next morning and it was tricky to remove, as the nail polish remover just seemed to move it around the nail, even though I used my tried and tested method of a cotton wool pad soaked in remover placed over the nail, press down for a few seconds, and then slide away, taking the polish with it. It took three tries per nail to remove most of the single layer of polish, and it did stain my nails to a greyish colour, but I can't complain about that, as it was my choice not to use a base coat, and the staining disappeared after a normal day of hand washing and washing up. The second time I used it, I used both base and top coat, which did give it a high level of shine. It chipped by day 2, and it was so bad by day 3 that I had to remove it. Again, it was tricky to remove, and there was some faint staining. That said, I would buy it again, knowing that I could only wear it for a night out, or a couple of days. I really like the depth of black, and for me, it’s worth that extra bit of hassle.

Beautiful colour speedy delivery

it's a nice colour and they dry very quickly, but you need 2-3 coats to get a nicer coverage. A big downside is that when you shower or get them quite wet, it can easily just peel off. I only painted them yesterday and the next day, 3 of them peeled off in one go; it doesn't last long and I haven't had it on long enough to know if it chips much! Probably wouldn't purchase again but it's an easy paint because of how quick they dry.

i love this nail colour so much. it’s a thin formula so it dries fairly quickly which i like. i did 3 coats to get it to this deep blood red colour. i did use a top coat from a different brand so the shinyness can’t be from the nail varnish itself. however it was pretty shiny before the top coat

Really pretty brownish rose colour. Neutral without being insipid. Easy to apply and excellent longevity at least on toenails

Lo smalto nero di Essie è in assoluto il mio preferito. Colore intenso, coprente già dalle prime passate, elegante e perfetto in qualsiasi stagione. È un nero pieno e raffinato, adatto sia a look più casual che più curati. Si stende bene e ha una buona durata. La consegna è stata puntuale e nei tempi previsti. Lo ricomprerò senza dubbi

Arrivato ieri. Ben emballato e arrivato puntuale. Come si vede nella foto il colore è molto bello per il resto è uno smalto come tutti gli altri di questo livello

Wie alle Essielacke ist dieser Lack einfach toll. Auch wenn man die Farbe nach der Abbildung nicht so sehen kann, auch in echt sieht es in der Flasche nicht so aus, wie sie dann am Nagel ist, das ist ein wirklich tolles Blut-Rot.
