Only giving this 4 stars It’s a great shelf and looks very smart in the hallway perfect size However The hanging pegs for coats are completely useless The coats just slip off due to the design of them Having to take them all off and replace with cost hooks

Recommend working over a soft surface e.g. carpet.,don't drop any of the wooden parts as they are easily damaged. Carefully read the instructions as they can be misleading. Use hand tools for assembly and don't over tighten, do not use power tools because the paint is easily damaged. Good luck. Have started to assemble and decided to walk away and continue another day!! Would add I am not a novice at DIY.

Everything good about the product, slight small hooks and tiny windows but other then that looks the part

This item is exactly what I was looking for. Being a family of three and having family and friends able to visit again, there are enough hooks to comfortably accommodate everyone. It's well made and looks more expensive than it was, which was an absolute bargain considering what I paid for a coat rack alone last time! However, my only negative is the size of the three compartments as they are very small; I know that the measurements are provided before purchase, but this was something I had to compromise on as there does not seem to be a happy medium and considering the space it was to be put in this was the best choice. It's still a lovely item though and I'm glad that I chose it!
