3M Quick and Easy Headlight Restoration Kit, Removes Light Yellowing in 15-Minutes

What a great kit, I actually bought the wrong one thinking it was the one that came with different 3 different pads and a Polishing compound but this was just the 3k grit pad and 2 sealing wipes. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was and yes its done in 15 minutes, simple and effective and as long as it lasts 12 months ill be happy but time will tell. November 2025

Firstly it is leather and well made, if you take you're time this will give a very good end result, you need to take the thread from the front on a diagonal angle to the rear row of stitching and you stich through the stiches and don't pull too tight just enough to take any creases away keep this up and you should end up with a very nice refurbished driving wheel, there is plenty of thread in the pack more than enough to finish the product and have some over in case of any repairs. it is a professional looking finish, hope this helps.

So i bought this to use on a 2010 Honda Jazz, the headlights were cloudy and with the MOT looming, i though ill give this a go. I was a bit sceptical as to results this product may or may not deliver, and i was a bit unsure about scuffing up a set of headlights, but given if they faild MOT it was a £250 bill to replace them why not try. I was suitably impressed the instructions a clear and easy to follow, the 2 pads appear to be impregnated with a cutting agent that is activated by water, The first one clears away all of the old lacquer coating that has degraded, this took about 15min per light. I then cleaned the headlights and started with the second finer pad working at 90 degrees to the first rubdown, i spent about 45 min per light and did a couple of rinse and clean offs in between to check progress, after the final clean off you then go over the lights with what looks like a wet wipe that gives the lights a protective coating I was very impressed with results, the headliights have gone from a cloudy worning lens to near flawless, with the lights on you can see some minor scratches if you at the right angle, i just with id taken a before and after. a really good product and worth a go before replacing headlights

Had the usual Yellowing Headlight (996 4S) 2003 TRied the Halfords Kit on with the Machine but did not do anything as I felt was too harsh But the 3M QUICK and EASY Headlight Restoration Kit 12.00 UKP Arrived this afternoon It says clean the Lights with 50% IsoPropyl and Water - Done Then use a Their Pad damped with Water Quiet hard but just by Hand It was still Frosty / Hazy as in Instruction Then Applied the "Magic" Quick Headlight Coat and WOW What a difference An hour later Applied the second Coat from second Sachet Just amazed so easy so Quick Should have taken photo before But yes it does EXACTLY what it says on the Pack

A bit disappointing. I had polished the headlights with silver polish and the 3M supplied pad actually put scratches back. The transparent sealant sort of worked but I did not get the clarity of finish I expected (may have been a bit cold?).

انه جيد جداً لقد أستخدمته للأنوار في سيارتي وجعلها كالجديدة أنه يعالج الاصفر المتوسط اذا كانت انوار سيارتك بحالة سيئة جدا ويوجد فيها بعض الخدوش فعليك ان تطلب مجدد الانوار للحالات الصعبة

I used wet sanding paper in grits 320, 600, 1000, 1200, 1500, 2000 and 2500. Only after that I used the 3000 grit and sealant from the box. And the results are very good, headlights looks like new.
