This 8Bitdo product does exactly what it says on the tin. I‘be very easily been able to connect my PS5 controller to the PS2 and have encountered no issues while doing so. The controller works seamlessly with no lag on the console.Pros:. Very easy to pair a controller to the device.. Works well without lag.. PS5 controller compatibility.. Slots straight into the PS2 controller port.Cons:. I didn’t realise that this device had to be charged before use. However, a USB-C cable is included, and the charge on the device lasts a very long time.Overall, highly recommend this product to anybody wanting to utilise their current wireless controllers over buying a new wired PS2 controller.I look forward to trying some other 8Bitdo products in the future!

Been using this for a few months- I’m honestly amazed how easy it is to use and set up. Plug it in, press the sync button, and press the button on your PS4 controller. Boom. Whenever you turn the console on, just press a button on the controller and it gives you a little rumble to tell you it’s on. Zero input lag, zero dropped inputs. Great device and crazy cheap for how good it is

Easy to set up! Had it working with my PS4 controller straight away. Love the retro games! But those old PSONE controllers aren't very ergonomic are they? And wireless is always better!

This is great. I've been using it a lot and it works perfectly.So far I've paired both PS4 & PS4 controllers. I've also tested out the 8BITDO Pro 2 and their Ultimate controller. All work great with intuitive mapping and even vibration support.Pros: -AffordablePlug and PlayNo more cablesNo lag (atleast what I can tell and I play SHMUPS)Cons: -Wish it was black to match my PS2I hope this helps!

Once connected it works great on a PS2 with the PS4 controller, and you have to (unpair the controller from the PS4 first) then hold the pair button on the adapter, then the ps4 button on the controller, but it does connect and play really great, didn't notice much if any lag in the games i played, but every time you want to play again, you have to pair it each time, as it didn't seem to remember the pairing each time.Possibly needed an update but so far nothing has fixed it with the PS4 controller, other controllers may be better etc.The adapter can be updated online using the included USB cable to a USB port on a PC and visiting the support website on the box.

Bought this on a whim, not expecting much. Now, I couldn’t love without it.Easy to setup/connect, being able to use modern controllers means you no longer have to put up with the extremely inaccurate standard ps2 analog sticks. I had no idea how much of a difference this would make but games like time splitters and gran turismo 4 benefit massively from the extra sensitivity and accuracy, making the games feel far more intuitive. No latency issues that I can notice, not sure of the polling rate but everything feels snappy and responsive. Stop using those awful small inaccurate ps2 controllers and use your preferred modern wireless controllers to play your beloved classic titles.

I received the item today. It was sold as new but as you can see from the pictures it's scratched as if it has been used? Perhaps a return or something.
