I have what has been described as the world's largest nano tank. It's a 125 gallon tank but stocked with species that are typically used in much smaller tanks. I started with 30-40 blue dream and blue velvet shrimp, some kubotai rasporas and a carpet of pearlweed. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I now have hundreds - maybe over 1,000 shrimp in this tank and they're absolutely MAD for these pellets. Within minutes of putting them in the tank, they're covered with shrimp. High quality, good packaging, great stuff.

My caridina shrimp like this food well enough, but I have a very small tank and the pads are too big for my needs. I wish I'd gotten a smaller form factor but it wasn't available at the time that I ordered. So I try to break apart the pads into tiny pieces for my shrimp -- but they're TOUGH! Sometimes I have to put them in a bag and bash them with a meat tenderizer to get smaller bits. The pads sink immediately, and they really do hold together well -- they don't make much of a mess at all. But I think my shrimp can't eat them very quickly because they're so dense. The shrimp don't exactly run to eat this stuff, but they'll stop by and pick at it if it's in their vicinity.

Shrimp love it, doesn't fall apart too quickly so doesn't pollute water and pot lasts a long time for a small tank (12L approx) so great value for money

I keep a variety of shrimp across several aquariums and they all love this high quality shrimp dinner patties. The stuff in pet stores is junk food (as is most of the fish food in pet stores. I also use all of the Glasgarten product line for shrimp regularly. Contrary to popular belief, even though shrimp eat algae and leftover fish food, shrimp also benefit from supplemental feeding to keep up nutrition. Especially in newer setups, or they will starve. Even though I keep leaf litter and lots of plants in my tanks, I believe the shrimp benefit from the extra nutrition in Glasgarten products. How much to feed really depends on tank environment. I fed more often when they were young and my tanks were new. Less now that tanks are mature with established biofilm and leaf litter they love to eat. My shrimp literally come running/swimming from hiding (unless they are molting) when I add this to the tank. I have Amanos that are over three years old and going strong and are bigger than some of my fish. Many will say their life expectancy is generally only 1-2 yrs, I beg to differ. Provide a healthy environment and good nutrition and they will live long and prosper. Very highly recommend. It also lasts a very long time.
