Excellent quality and price, compact
I had never used a food processor before and am still learning how to use this machine with YouTube presentations. - It is small, compact and easy to stow, which is good because I did want it to take up space on the countertop in my small kitchen. It is also easy to clean because of the clean design and a minimum of easy-to-use parts. - It definitely made my holiday cooky-baking easier.

Warranty is non existant
I have enjoyed using my new compact 9 cup food processor from Cuisinart since March 25,2024. Yesterday I was chopping cabbage in the bowl (not the continuous feed bowl ) and when it was at the size I wanted I tried to unlock the bowl from the machine and the handle just broke in my hand leaving the bowl still locked into place on the base. I used no more force other than necessary to unlock and remove the bowl and it just came off in my hand. I checked the website for a warranty and I see that it was still under warranty and there was a phone number listed for support for Cuisinart so I just called them today. Chris told me that I used too much force to remove the bowl and that it was not covered under their warranty and that I could purchase a new one from them on- line for $42.00 plus tax but the good news was that it had free shipping. As you might expect I told him NO and that I was going to write a review of this experience on Amazon and tell everyone who is interested about their warranty. Please, if your are considering purchasing this food processor be aware that the handle on the bowl is very flimsy and yours could break off in your hand as well. So now my husband has gorilla glued the handle pieces to the bowl so that I can semi lock and unlock it from the base and hope it will limp along until I can afford to purchase a better one. Buyer Beware!

Powerful motor, but grading any root vegetable is a no go
I purchased this continuous feed food processor to mainly grate up vegetables for home made dog food for my 3 dogs. Root vegetables appear to be an issue using the medium blade grater disk. I fact I bent the disk after only 4 uses. For soft vegetables this does fine. The motor is strong and does not bog down, but the side shoot does clog and requires removal of the top to clear. Don't get me wrong, I still think this is a good unit. Unfortunately there does not appear to be many other choices out there for a continuous feed food processor unless. you want to spend $1000.00 for a commercial unit. I have not tried the other accessories but believe this will work well using the the other bowl and accessories as a normal food processor. I went to the Cuisinart web site to see how much a new medium grading disk would cost and blown away at a $28 price. Lucky for me I saw a new one on eBay for $10 including shipping. One thing I thought was strange, was the the fine grading disk appeared to be heaver and built more robust then the medium grading disk. Anyway I still feel this was a good value considering there a very few alternatives to this style of food processor.

Plastic in my grandchild's food
I bought this for my daughter 7 months ago and it totally fell apart while she was making baby food. I've been calling Cuisinart to use the warranty but they are only willing to send a replacement bowl, which is not the issue. I'm so disappointed. I won't be ordering Cuisinart again.
